So right now, I'm level 26. My armor is a mixture of daedric, ebony, steel plate, and orcish. My weapon is an Ebony War Axe. Do you think this is enough for killing alduin and that dragon priest? I've improved a lot, but is this enough?

Go for it man. He's been beat on master naked with no weapons. Just save before you call Odaviing in case you really have a problem. I waited way too long to do stuff that sounded hard on my first playthrough, mainly because of so many people having so much trouble with Diplomatic Immunity, one of my favorite quests now.

You won't know what you need until you try. Get a good stone like the Lord. The experience stones are worthless in combat. What is your armor rating?

You can defeat Alduin really at any level the REAL boss battle is with the Dragon Priest right before the entrance to Savngarde. No matter how you go into battle you will have to be creative, burn through your supplies, and improvise. Good luck, really an amazing boss battle.

I have already killed a dragon priest before, only problem is, I had my follower with me. I'm sure I can defeat this dragon priest, it's just I want to play it safe. I also got my armor rating to 344. So, I think I'll attempt it soon. I just don't want to finish the main quest just yet. What's it like finishing the main quest anyway, do you feel too overpowering?

Either or, after you take out Alduin, look up and check out the eye candy! When I finished, I roamed around for a bit to check the place out. If you have it, use your Storm shout to help clear away some of the Draugr.

Also, use your "clear air" shout as you make your way to Sovengarde, it'll help you see, as well as gain a bit more help.

I think that Alduin is easy in compare to the Draugrs and the priest. Those draugrs will use unrelenting force on you a lot and constantly before you enter the temple. The are harder than Alduin. Once you get to Sovngarde, the 3 heroes will help you to kill him. You just need clear skies and dragonrend which you already have. Happy killing ... :bluedragon:

I've already watched people play it on youtube, I practically memorized the place. The question is: do you feel too overpowering when you finish? Does it take all the fun away after?

Killing Alduin is not like a piece of cake but it is not that difficult and I did not feel overpowering at all and regarding that if the fun will go away, I don’t think so. Fun start after that in my opinion. There will be more dragons to kill and probably 2 at the same time. Have you done Dragonborn and Dawnguard already ? If not, you have plenty of fun still ahead. ;)

I didn't feel too overpowered at the end, nor did it take the fun away. While there is no main quest to 'fall back' on when you have nothing else to do, the game can still provide a challenge, granted you look in the right places. Dragons will most likely be stronger than when you were previously fighting them. Elder Dragons are more common, and so are the tougher Ice Dragons. Normal Dragons will be harder to come by. Point is, I can't say you feel overpowered at the end, no.
