I agree, you ended up in that camp which is a pain in the butt especially for two : one woman forsworn with a lot of magic and power and the freaking Hagraven. Other than them, are easy to take in my opinion. ;)
i don't have any issues with forsworn briar hearts, warriors, or the bitch mages.. its those annoying ass damn freakin archers i loath! they wouldn't be so bad if they'd MISS every once in awhile, but these pricks can quite literally shoot backwords blindfolded and STILL somehow manage to hit you! i have actually watched forsworn archers point their bow left or right clear as day, fire.. and then watch an arrow magically appear in my face! no bs. its the most irritating cheap sh!t i have experienced on an AI, let me explain the ludicracy in this by telling you that i have fired a professional grade bow and trust me it is NOT that damn easy to hit something! ESPECIALLY a moving target.. its ridiculous! bethesda could have added a small bit of realism in this concept ffs!

You are right, the archers are like snipers. Is there anyway you can conjure to fight them off ? Now, what I did was to use sneaking and kill one by one with my bow but I agree with you, they are very accurate and too many. It is a hell of a fight especially if you are not that powerful at the moment which I believe nobody is when you are following Esbern and Delphine to the Sky Haven temple. Now if you are alone, it will be more difficult but if you are with them, you balance out a bit and if a dragon shows up, the thing gets more interested. In my case, the dragon showed up right at the bridge, before you get to the camp so I could concentrate on him before I faced the freaking camp but It was tough to kill that freaking dragon and everybody at the camp.

sneaking doesn't work against archers, i've tried.. many times.. i have a one shotty glitch bow and the problem is that the second you drop an enemy EVERYBODY in the entire camp is both allerted and somehow knows exactly where you are! the only option i've ever found thats "half assed" useful against hordes of homing arrow robin hoods is to hide behind something and repeatedly conjure storm atronachs and dremora lords untill you stop hearing arrow clinks.. its a long process and boring as piss but if you wanna survive its the only stratagy i've seen that ever works and even its 50/50 sometimes.

I always approach the camp from the mountains (north), where the cave you're going in is. That way it's easy to sneak to a good sniping position, plus the dragon is less likely to see/attack you. It nearly always attacks the Forsworn down below. I rarely need to really participate in the fight. Usually I just drop down and take the few steps to enter the cave, letting the enemies fight it out among themselves.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
I guess you decided to "meet them at Karthspire," then forgot about it until you ended up at Karthspire, arguably the biggest Forsworn camp in the game. Yeah, they're there. If you come in from the south, you meet them first... but if you come in from the north, the fight starts with you on one side, Esbern/Delphine on the other, and the Forsworn and Hagravens in the middle. Bwahahahahahahaha!
Oooo! Now I know to come in from the North! I luv a good fight. Although I've already been to Karthspire, since I haven't even gotten past the party on that questline, I obviously wasn't supposes to meet those 2 there yet so they weren't there. It was a great fight though! I guess I get to do it again! Hack... Hack... Slash... Slash...POW! ZOINK! BOINGGGGGGGG!

Agree on the sneak and shoot. I use it only for the first one from a good vantage and then pick 'em off as they're coming for me. I can usually find a spot where they need to come at me from only one or two directions so I can get off easy shots and take 'em down. Since I'm not much of a conjurer, I've never tried the antronach/D'Lord method, but maybe I'll give it a try. I don't like others doing my job for me though. Besides, I get so satisfied when I thwok them myself. :)

If persimmons approach, Khajiit will smell them.
Hit one or two of their archers with an expert-level Fury spell and see what happens....

Mean? MEAN?

The Forswarn aren't exactly nice. This is probably the nicest a Forswarn has ever been to Mehitabel.

I guess I have a soft spot for them now, even though they are usually trying to kill me (not always mind you, I've now run in to 1/2 a dozen nice groups that don't attack me - one I even sell & buy stuff from). Getting them to kill each other rather than do it yourself... tsk.... tsk... :) I like it!

If you do the jailbreak the right way, there's one group who will be nice to you, yes.

>^^< still has to fight after getting them angry at each other, but by the time they get around to aiming at her, Jenassa is usually feeding them a dagger.

The nice thing about my pic is that you can see exactly who shot the Forswarn lady... cuz we use different arrows.
