Hi im thinking of buying the legendary edition for PC((now that i have a gaming rig)) for the mods but it seems very complicated from what i read. can anyone confirm this? how easy is it to Install/delete mods?

Well even manually required mods can be installed with the nexus mod manager. You simply download the mod, select the files inside the folder you downloaded, and Zip them up in a .rar file. Then go into mod manager and add them in using the + symbol. Bam done. Now you can activate and deactivate them just like a mod downloaded through the mod manager. But to address the OP's question yes it's simple and not a difficult process. Just make sure not to have too many or you may run into conflicts. Usually the author of the mod will state in his or her description if a particular mod will conflict with theirs.

No, I'm pretty sure you don't have to download anything unless you want to use a ps3 controller.

And make sure you have the dongle from ms, I like mouse and keyboard better than controller BTW.

Agreed with those above me; I just plugged my XBox controller right into the USB port on my PC and it works just fine.

Also, as far as mods go: I got my PC version of Skyrim through Steam, and their "Workshop" feature allows me to just click "Subscribe" to any mods I want.

Then when I start my game, the mods I've subscribed to automatically load (and update if necessary) - no other installation required.

Also, if you have the 360 version, then you can continue with your save on the PC (something that I did).
For PS3, it requires a bit more steps (360 only needs a USB and a free program called Horizon or something similar), and as I don't own a PS3, I can't say how tricky it can be.

Only thing is, is that you will have to clean your save (remove the scripts and useless IDs) which are very simple, and the tools are on the Nexus site.

Typically, you can load your save up without a problem on the computer with nothing needed, but to actually play it with a lot heavy script based mods (Imp's Complex Needs, FNIS, Overhauls, Project Reality, etc) it becomes too much of a burden on the save, and will start to freeze frequently, so cleaning the save is a great thing to do if you don't want to start over.
This also applies to people with old saves that have only ever been on the PC that are a bit too big.

It sounds complicated, but when you are following the steps, it is actually quite simple.

Back on to the Xbox Controller question (despite it being answered), I also use an Xbox controller for the game, and with no problems.

I do have a Wireless Adapter which works, and you can find on Amazon for about $10 to $15, and these work for any Xbox wireless products (headsets and controllers).
I started using a wired controller ever since I found one, as I don't need to get new batteries anymore.

I also recommend this button layout as it gives some additional useful features.

I didn't know this was possible! I had a great character on Xbox and was going to recreate him on PC, but you're saying you can 'transfer' a save game from Xbox to PC?

Do you have a link to instructions on how to do this, or should I just search online? Thanks!

I'll type up the steps, so don't worry.
I think I might make a topic on this, as I seem to be telling people similar things whenever I come onto this site, lol.
