You find you're stuck within an online tussle
With those too plainly dumb to see the light,
Never let them see your jimmies rustle.

Do not give in to those with bigger muscles
since all they want to do is see you cry
when beating you within an online tussle.

It's best to take your leave with grace, and hustle,
Than stay and show they mauled you in a fight.
Never let them see your jimmies rustle.

You may decide to join the fray and justle
words, inflict yourself the pain of sorrowed sighs
When you find you're stuck within an online tussle.

But keep your lips closed tighter than a mussel;
Avoid the fearsome 4chan's memetic bite;
Never let them see your jimmies rustle.

Show there is no butthurt 'neath your bustle;
Smooth your skirts, shake your head, and roll your eyes.
When you find you're stuck within an online tussle,
Never let them see your jimmies rustle.

Being identified is a panacea. Look at Facebook, after all, where everyone is so very polite.

What I mean by anonymous is that you don't have to give your name, details, etc. What you say and do here won't necessarily follow you in real life. I was a member of a submarine simulation forum for 13 years, and while I knew the first names of a number of members and where they lived, I didn't know them sufficiently to have any real repercussions should there have been a falling out, if that makes any sense.

again, I agree.. but I don't think it's the case in that situation. This could apply to me I guess since I feel maybe I don't really have any friends on this website that would care if I personally live or die, but others on this site do have friends they like very much. Repercussions don't always have to do with "Can they Find Me" or "Do they know where I live". It can simply be loosing a friend, and that is sometimes just as hard.

But Back On Topic: Ambercrombie and Fitch is really a bunch of overprices junk really.

I know what you're saying, and I wasn't implying that it was happening here; rather I was giving a personal rule of thumb for internet discourse. It works well for people like me, who are more or less itinerant as it relates to the social groups within this particular forum. For an outsider, I find that it is key to getting along.

OH HAY GAIS WUTS GOIN ON IN HERE?

I'd just like to ask everyone one question. Why the hell do you care what Abercrombe thinks? If they want to be shallow, racist assholes, let them. Nobody is forcing you to spend your money there. Live and fluffing let live. To many people bitching about too many things that aren't important in the long run.

No one's forcing you to read this thread. How about live and fluffing let complain? Too many people bitching about other people bitching. :D

I suppose you missed the posts in which most of us said that A&F would NOT be enjoying our business. :p In my case, I have never spent a dime there and never will - because I believe in the power of pocketbook protesting. Not because I can't buy clothes from there (because I could if I wanted to size-wise) which isn't even the point. But anyway.

Live and fluffing let live - alright, fine. So then live or in this case complain and fluffing let complain, man. A&F can do what they want, obviously. But we have every right to find patently offensive commentary and attitudes offensive. Not sure what anyone's objection to that is or even could be.

So I saw this just now:

(CNN) -- Jes Baker is cutting retailer Abercrombie & Fitch down to size.
Baker, who blogs under the name "The Militant Baker" and wears a size 22, changed the brand's A&F logo to "Attractive & Fat" in a mock, black-and-white Abercrombie ad to challenge the line's branding efforts...

http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/23/living/abercrombie-attractive-and-fat/

Thoughts?

Of course the comments section is pretty...troubling. But I suppose that comes with the territory.
