Just outside of Whiterun, like in Silent Moons Camp, or Halted Stream Camp. Lots of targets coming through the central marketplace.....

The Brotherly Update: (1.06)
Group Discussion: Gather round, my brothers. I was very pleased to see the amount of votes we recieved as to where the Assassins should make their headquarters in Skyrim, and as of right now the trending location is Markarth. But one idea that keeps coming up in the thread is the idea of occupying a fort after clearing it. This seems promising and make no mistake, I like the idea, but I have a few concerns so if you can counter them, leave a comment.
1.) Which fort? Something small, or large? Where? Location, my friends. Location
2.) How do we actually "renovate" a fort? Thats why i suggest something small or a player home.
3.) If we leave our base for too long won't it become reoccupied and our loot stolen?

fort amol would be pretty good hardly any enemies

Fort Amol is the perfect size, but Its also a Stormcloak fort. If someone wanted to play an Assassin AND The Civil War, they would lose their fort to either side of the Quest. Although, maybe having a garrisoned fort isnt all that bad, eh? Anyways, for anyone else reading I would like to restate the contentions for finding the fort.

Previous Contentions

New Contentions:
4.) Something with as many crafting stations as possible, Smithing, Enchanting, Alchemy

Ill also be looking into weather or not a garrisoned fort will prove beneficial, my theory is that as long as their are troops their it will keep the fort and its bounty from being lost, looted, or stolen. But it does seem to be a bit un-lore friendly that an Assassin is hanging out with a bunch of soldiers.... Ill work on it

The Brotherly Update (1.07)
Hail. Brothers! So I was just out playin Skyrim, ya know, slayin dragons and what not, and I remembered our delema on our secret Assassin headquarters, then I stumbled into the Sleeping Giant and recalled all the AWESOME places that the Dragonborn Quest Line had brought me. So i thought of two potential headquarters.
Delphine's Secret Room:
Pros: Alchemy Lab, Enchanting table, Chests, Shelves, Table with map, Weapon Rack, Hidden Door, Inn upstairs
Cons: No forge, Very small, Requires you to progress pretty far into main quest line,
Delphine's secret room offers a lot of cool features just like all other Assassin Hideouts, but it has no forge. Although a Forge is locaed nearby at Alvor's as well as a general store, The Riverwood Trader.
SkyHaven Temple a.k.a Blade's Headquarters:
Pros: Awesome Geographical location, Forge, Armory, Training rooms, full of followers of your choice, barracks
Cons: Requires you to join a faction, requires you to progress further into questline than Delphine's secret room,
Skyhaven is one of my favorite locations in Skyrim, and while it doesn't have many skill/crafting tables, it has a forge of battle ready warriors at your beck and call, a small forge, a barracks and weapons room.
Well there you have it, my brothers. Cast your votes or other suggestions. Later this week ill be posting more weekly challenges, and the first ever Assassins Brotherhood of Tamriel Hit List. Stay strong friends

LOVE this idea. The creativity you guys put together so far to introduce Assassins Creed in to Skyrim is amazing. It just so happens I started a new character, a Redguard Assassin, yesterday based off of these guidelines:

http://skyrimforum.com/threads/the-true-assassin-a-guide.15706/

I'm only a level 3 and have yet to complete any quests. I just spend my time hunting (raise archery) and collecting ingredient (raise alchemy) right now, trying to avoid killing anyone until I was able to come up with a motive and backstory as to why my character was an assassin, and this just answered those questions!!

The Sky Haven Temple idea is a real good one in my opinion. Its an isolated, hidden, legendary hideout with some great perks. And if you progress even further into the quest line you gain the ability to recruit members, who could be some of our most trusted assassins, or possibly from a role playing perspective our scholars or mentors (though they will be wearing Blades Armor  ).

If we were to go the "Hidden in plain view" perspective I like the idea of Solitude due to it being Skyrim's capital and the busiest city. Although I do love Markarth simply for the architecture and Dwemer influence. As soon as I get on Skyrim I'll start trying to complete some of the challenges. Can't wait to see the progress this idea has.

Calling All Assassins!
Chiamare tutti Assassinos!
Brothers, Sisters, It has come time to begin our battle against the Templars. You are the select few, the chosen warriors, who shall carry out the silent, and swift executions of our enemies. Perform these tasks and one day, maybe you will rise to the rank of master. Today's target...
Captain Hargar of the Blackblood Marauders:
Hargar once ran a notorious pirate band out of Broken Oar Grotto, but since the archway leading in and out of the waterway collapsed, blocking his ships from leaving the grotto, he and his Blackblood Marauders have been at an economic stand still. We know he has a contact in Solitude, Jaree-Ra, and is currently planning some scheme in Solitude. This is the perfect time to eliminate him, while his bandits are weak and tired, and they are all on edge about Ra's new scheme. If you need more information speak with Ahtar, Solitude's head jailor and dungeon master. He knows nothing of our order but he has had connections with Hargar in the past, and will gladly give you any information that points you towards killing Hargar.
Strike fast, and clean, my friends.

Just finished the contract, eliminating Captain Hargar. I eagerly await future orders.

This was a very tough one. I went in trying to eliminate only Captain Hargar. Due to him being at the top of that structure, it was difficult to get past all the other Marauders. After dying several times I began to shoot arrows across the cavern to try and draw them away, and Captain Hargar out from his room. I then began to pick him off, although I did kill another marauder at first thinking it was the Captain

As for our place of set up, how about in the Dragon Priest Mask Liar (or whatever its called)? You know, when you put the wooden mask on in the room and it takes you back in time, providing safe storage? Not sure how much this would fit the Assassin life style, but just a thought.

I thought it would be a good idea for us to all give a description of our characters, so we know who our fellow assassins are.

Name: Je'Rhal
Race: Redguard
Apparel: Hammerfell Garb, Leather Boots, Leather Bracers and Alik'r Hood (until I can obtain an Adept Hood).
Weapons: Iron Blade (until I can obtain a Scmitar) and Hunters Bow (will be upgrading to an Imperial Bow)

S'all Good, homie. didnt say you COULDN'T Kill the marauders now did I? Ive always had a spot in my heart for game design so Im trying to recreate some of the BEST Assassins Creed Gameplay points for my fellow Skyrim pals. And i admire the eagerness. Ive never done the "Back in time dragon priest mask" thing....I actually have no idea what you are talking about, curious.... But Im trying to find a location that is accessible to ANY and ALL players, So preferably somewhere where doing specific quests isnt neccesary but i admire the contribution, we'll keep searching.

btw my Assassin is Salazar Romen, an Argonian Smith who first lived his life as a highwayman but was recruited in the 11th of Last Seed, his skills Lie withing Alchemy, Smithing, and the art of ambushing.

Here's an Idea for, whatever your working on..Why not have the option to open up this guild/group to every major city??? Then you'd here your groups/guilds name all the time...

You mean like letting each individual player decide where they want to establish their own Assassin HQ? Thats kinda what I was assuming would happen, ya know, difference of opinion, accesibility, yada yada. Im all for it, Im more or so aiming to stir up people's creativity, so each person can form their individual Assassin Creed/Skyrim Universe

Well yea, but what Im saying is, you form the HQ in every city, and every HQ makes money from every kill, pickpocket, stealing and all..Thats a lot of money right there!

I know it wasn't a requirement for the contract, but I was trying to fulfill some of the bonus tasks you had listed on the previous page. Thought I'd try killing two birds with one stone.

Well the liar does not require any quests, skill level, gold or anything. You simply walk into Labyrinth, go to the central hut, find the wooden mask lying on the ground, and put it on while still in that hut. The only downside, you need to be in the hut to access the liar. In my mind, its kind of irritating to always have to go so out of the way to go there, but the concept is what I love.

I do like that idea. Have each member claim a city/hold where they would lead that division of assassins. The assassin located in each Hold would then be the one to carry out any contract involving one of that Hold's NPC's.

My God! Someone else had this idea!?!?!? Personally I've been camped out in markarth because it's one of only two places that I've encountered a leap of faith style location: Calcelmo's tower. The other involves a misc. quest I think, but you jump off a waterfall. Anyways, mad props for the ideas, I will try some of them as soon as I obtain a replacement Skyrim disc.

One more thing to note: Linwe's gear set would fit this roll quite well(I use it for my assassin) as would the thieves guild hood.

fort dunstad would also be good

Ill research it now. Thats a fort from the Civil War Quest if Im correct.

Thanks for the props, hombre. and those leaps of faith are some of my favorite! But when we try to develop the Assassin Hooded Armor, if you look back on previous pages, you can we are trying to develop a armor set that is obtainable early on in the game or at least very quickly and can be aquired without joining a faction, But by all means you can join any other guild you want and wear their armor but we do this for those who want to souly be an Assassin
