PC Isran Won't Die! :<

Hey,

Well, i'm onto this quest called Destroying The Dawnguard where i've to go to Fort Dawnguard and kill all their leaders. I left Isran for last, I like killing dramatically. Anyway, when I got round to killing him, he doesn't die, he just does that thing essential actors do when they lose all their health. I even went into the console and set him as unessential, but he still does the same thing. Couldn't attach any pics, fraps is screwy as hell.

Anyone know a solution?

maybe a mod conflict is best i can offer

It may well be, but the only things installed other than the game itself are Dawnguard of course and Hearthfire. It may be an error with the console i've caused myself, I use the console to fast travels, it's instant, compared to the regular fast travel.

It's really stupid we cant kill the leader of the Dawnguard faction considering the questline is vampires v.s dawnguard :S defeats the purpose if u cant kill him really plus he serves no cause at all after the quests end.

I know, we should be able to kill him before we get the side quest, he doesn't play a part in the Volkihar side of the storyline. I found a way around it after a while, it wasn't really worth the effort. :/
