I'm where you least expect me, THERE! no not there
Hello there guys and girls.

Hope you are all well :)

Just a thread to ask this one question (and maybe 1 or 2 more ;) ) :

How do you think the (civilized) world will end?

Could be anything from nukes to twilight fans.

And assuming it does end in the way you stated, how will you protect yourself against the threat?

I think the end will be nuclear based, and to protect myself, I will put head between my legs and kiss my a**e goodbye :)

I look forward to hearing your answers.

North Korea will launch a nuke on America. America will destroy the nuke, making the radiation hit the country close to where the nuke exploded, killing thousands there. Then they will launch a nuke back at North Korea, that destroys North Korea and sends radiation over to South Korea and kills all them. Then everyone turns on each other to show their power and before you know it there's nukes everywhere.

To protect myself, I'll go to one of the very few underground fallout-type vaults and stay there until I die.

Twilight fans seemed like a valid possibility, but there are no more movies to be made.

What we need to be concerned with are the 50 Shades maniacs after those movies are made. Women all over the planet will become mindless, horny berserkers and hump us all to death..........God, I can't wait for the apocalypse. DEATH BY SNU SNU!

I don't think it'll be anything as sensational as nuclear winter or a zombie plague. I think we will just overrun the planet and sap it dry of the resources we need to continue living as we do. The world's population has exploded over the last century, and it's only going to keep growing, at an exponential rate. Eventually, we're just going to run out of room, oil, water, and oxygen.

On the twenty-first day of December, in the year 2012, the world will... wait...

I'd say it'll end with another series of ridiculous movies, nukes, or a zombie apocalypse. Or all three: ridiculous movies that bring about a nuclear war that results in a zombie apocalypse. That's the most understandable scenario. I'll be damned if bombs aren't dropped when they do a Twilight prequel about the "werewolf" fellow.

I read somewhere Earth is going to be hit by a giant asteroid that will turn Earth into a giant flame ball. If that does happen and I'm around the only thing to do is put your head between your legs and kiss your arse goodbye because if that did happen no-one is surviving that. Or we will end up running out of resources food, fuel etc... and there will be a fuc# off world war.

Eh. I think it can be avoided altogether. A lot of the stuff we need to worry about are things we make for ourselves, and we have plenty of time to come up with solutions for anything from Yellowstone to the sun's Red Giant phase. Only thing is...WE NEED TO GET OUR HEADS OUT OF OUR ASSES!!!!!
That is all.

The computer simulation we're all currently living in could get rebooted....

Haha just made me think of the Frankie Boyle joke.

Scientists have just built the world's biggest supercollider, and they're doing experiments to see what makes up protons. I hope that if the experiment's successful, the whole of our reality will dissolve, and a big sign will up come that says: Level Two.

Theoretically, when the sun becomes a red giant and starts to engulf all the planets, in five billion years I think. But of course humanity will have long died out by then, or at least I should think so given the current climate.

Or we will find a way to prevent unnatural climate change and shortages of resources, survive the natural ones, and when the sun goes big...leave.
