Toughest Fight (That you survived)

The toughest enemy ive fought was the general guy in the abandoned fort at solstheim im lvl 35 playing on master and he was so hard. I couldnt survive long enough although i need better armor

That guy was a nightmare, even on Novice. I stumbled upon the quest when I kept asking everyone about Miraak.
I must have used a dozen healing potions just during that last fight, even though I had the best available Light Armor and an Ebony Sword. I was level 33 or 34, too.

Also the labyrinth was difficult for my lvl 15 mage. Although funny thing happened the dragon priiest just stood still while i shot him with arrows lol

An Elder Dragon and some mage person. >.< Shadowmere had to distract the dragon while I struggled to kill the mage and keep the dragon rooted. Or whatever, I don't remember, but Elder Dragons killed me very easily, lol.

Fighting two giants a mammoth's at the same time is never fun. Eventually my brain kicked in and I realised "Ahh I have Animal Aliegance" so I used that and ta-da the giants are getting their butts kicked long enough for me to finish them off. Marvelling in my victory I realised my Shout had run out and the mammoths were coming for me. I ran. I did survive it after all.

Also I wouldn't call this my toughest fight but if I were on my own, I'd have died a lot. The first dragon, the majority of the time I sat back and let the soldiers do the most damage and I'd run out attack then run back for cover. R.I.P brave soldiers! xD

I was hunting one day, just a hunting bow, steel arrows, and a orc dagger. Wearing only ragged trousers. I got jumped by roughly seven bandits. I fought and killed two of em and was running circles around the rest. Right when My health was just a barely visible red speck I remembered, I'm a werewolf. Boy, them bandits were sure surprised.

A Skeever And Mudcrab Both Took Me On At Ounce, I Was So Lucky To Escape Alive.

I have died several times, killed by a dragon a couple of times in Danwstar ( did not have Fire Resistance potion and I did not have the effect as well ), one time by the Ebony Warrior ( just a couple of days ago when I was starting my game and I got out from my Breezehome in Whiterun, so the Miraak cultist attacked me and when I replied in combat the Ebony Warrior got me and killed me ) and one time in a cave that I do not remember its name, killed by 3 necromancers that attacked me with Fireball staff. Other that that, never again ! Now I am playing Adept but I do have such a good enchanted weapon and armors that I can not get killed by anybody, not matter what they throw to me or how many they attack me.

Not the toughest ever, but one of the more surprising and unexpected battles happened to me just now.

I've just started a new character, he's currently Level 6, a Redguard with skills in One Handed, Block, Destruction, Heavy Armour and Restoration. I'd just cleared Bleak Falls Barrow and was making my way to Whiterun when I came across the random encounter spot in the turn in the road (just after the wolf).

Knowing it was a random zone, I slowed down a little to make sure I couldn't see anything, before putting my steel sword (superior) away and carrying on. Until, I got blasted with two lightning bolts out of nowhere as a Khajiit in steel armour flashed across the screen. I had lost more than half of my health already, and managed to dodge another three long-range lightning bolts before getting myself into cover behind the fallen tree on the corner. He was darting around, trying to get a clear look at me again, while I healed and equipped my lesser ward.

Like a total bad***, I jumped over the log, dodged a bolt, cast my ward and closed the gap. I evaded another bolt and unequipped my ward, leaving my off-hand empty to block. After all of his bolts, he was down to just using sparks, which still seemed to hurt more than normal, but I managed to catch him with a bash before laying into him with my sword with a flurry of bashes and power attacks.

Not very often I get surprised on Skyrim these days, but it can be pretty fun when it happens

For me, I just started my roleplay character and was about a level 2 and was walking around trying to get from winterhold to whiterun. (I also had the SkyRe mod on and the difficulty at whatever is after apprentice, i can't remember it right now) Then out of fluffing no where 3 wolves start attacking me. I'm all like "No big deal." Then 3 more attacked me while I was fighting the other three. They ambushed me and I had to reload my save over and over because I didn't want the roleplay to end that early. Eventually I used god mode just to kill the bastards. I know, I'm a noob but whatever.

Getting to Alduin.

A few hours ago I would have said Morokei, that dragon priest in Labyrinthian. Now though it would have to be the mages that are in Wolfskull cave summoning Potema. I ran in all heroic flashing my sword and before I realised what was going on my guy was lying dead on the ground. I reloaded the save and tried again and same results, there was a Draugr in there midst and it summoned a frost atronarch and while I was distracted by it an ice spear took me out. I reloaded, dropped the difficulty and it still took half my saved up potions (all of the healing ones) and poisons and my best scrolls to take them all out... And there wasn't even any decent loot.

Mine was in Markath , after investigating the attempted murder by the forsworn when it eventually comes to a conclusion and the City Guards are waiting for you, this came at a time when I was just doing errands and non combat missions, clearing inventory etc, so was a little unexpected and unprepared, I chose to fight instead of going to prison, after a long drawn out fight in the temple and then being attacked outside I eventually realised in order to progress that story I need to go to prison! it was annoying because it made all the potions and poisons I popped useless, and also the fact that until then I had never attacked, let alone killed a city guard.

Naw I am kidding, when I was level 12 and somewhere just outside of Winterhold I was on my way through a mountain pass when I saw two wolves atacking a mammoth. That was my first time seeing the Mammoth so I thought it was a gentle weak creature. I rushed over to the wolves and used my flame spell to kill them. The mammoth didn't like that so it took a swing at me. I was like, "HAHA! You fool I am level 12! I will show you!" He swung at me and this time hit me and I was like, "OMG!! I am almost dead!!" so I start running and healing and he is fast on my tail. After throwing firebolts and fire at him and him nearly killing me hundreds of time and running somemore. I finially took him down and I was like... holy crap... That was insane...I shall never underestimate a mammoth again... ever...

Similar for me. On my way through one of those narrow mountain passes and, when coming out stumbled on 1/2 a dozen giants and a bunch of mammoths (I think I was about 15th at that time). I tried running past them but, apparently that pissed them off and awaaayyyy we go! They were all chasing me and i knew I wasn't strong enough to fight them all. I finally out ran them and sneaked away. On the plus side, I came across a dwemer ruin and got a lot of cool stuff out of it (this was long before I reactivated the dwemer defenses so it was easy).

I had been messing around with the difficulty settings and accidentally forced the game to spawn three wolves, two ice wraiths, a half dead blood dragon and a regular dragon.
