On the other hand, Skyrim bath salts could explain that whole Namira's Feast quest. o_O

Delphine has never gotten laid, but has also rejected Orgnar's subtle advances.

This is because Delphine is a man-hating lesbian.

Also, every time Faendal goes back to Riverwood during one of my Companions quests he is making sweet, passionate love to Camilla as loudly as possible so as to annoy Sven.

I also am convinced that Brynjolf is the one who left that note for Haelga. You know the one...about the trout....

Housecarls are trained from birth to be appointed a Thane, and are cryogenically frozen in giant containers until their day comes, when they are dethawed

If you accidentally blow up someone with a fireball, people in Skyrim mourn for a moment, then go on with their everyday lives because they know that they shouldn't be sentimental; things explode every day

Man, you guys have much better imaginations than I do. The only real head cannon I have is that my dragonborn is a decedent from the Champion of Cyrodiil.

My precious
Camilla and Lucan have something going on( Which is why Faendal and Sven havent actually gotten with her)

Miraak is dragonborns (Your character) Father.

My breton is 40% nord 40% Imperial and 20% Bosmer.

Molag bal wants in Boethia's pants.

And Delphine actually has it going on with good old Esbern.

I don't know if this can even be called head canon, but Sven is a much better companion if your characters morals are, at times, questionable. I once was forced to kill Faendal in self defense and soon recieved a "Thankyou, he won't be missed" letter from Sven

This just exposed another of my head canons I hadn't even realised was my head canon and not everyone's canon. I am convinced Bolli wrote that note. He has supper with Haelga in the Bee and Barb every single night, and I know he slept with her once. She put something in your drink, Bolli? Riiight...

Just read this on TVTropes:
Though it's considered a "bug", the ambiguity of why Hrongar (Balgruuf's brother) would send hitmen after the Dovahkiin for having Lydia join the blades makes more sense when you realize that those hitmen are only put out by the closest living relative of the person you wronged. So Lydia is probably Hrongar's Daughter and probably wasn't too happy to have her nobility stripped away. This adds more brilliance. Balgruuf is so grateful to the Dovahkiin he made his niece his/her housecarl. No wonder he takes a Stormcloak Dragonborn's betrayal so hard!
The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim - Television Tropes & Idioms

Not a bad idea, really.

Lydia never jumps off the edges on hills as shortcuts because she is afraid of heights, a very severe case of being afraid of heights. She walks around the edge and find another way down because she doesn't want to pass out when jumping off. She never mentions it to the Dragonborn because she is supposed to protect him with her life, and a housecarl that is afraid of heights doesn't sound very strong and useful as a companion - the Dragonborn would abandon her and she wants to prevent that that's going to happen.

Sorry if it isn't some deep, sudden-realisation head cannon, but this is what I thought.

Interesting. I like the idea of Lydia being Balgruuf's niece.

Some of mine:

--Marcurio (f course I have one about Marcurio) ended up in Skyrim working as a rent-a-mage because he was chased out of Cyrodill after some scandal. What that scandal was varies from game to game for me. Often time I RP like it was something that got him thrown out of the College of Whispers and after word of it spread around Tamriel, he likewise is now barred from joining the College of Winterhold as well.

--Khajiit like Bosmer more than other non-Khajiit, and think the Bosmer best understand their ways.

--Bretons are terribly conflicted over their half-elven, half-human ancestry and their culture has developed a certain flair for pagentry and extravagance as a collective form distraction from their inner conlficted nature.

--Nazeem, although acts and dresses like he's wealthy, is in fact broke and deeply in debt. Hence all his brown-nosing with the jarl and his not-great realtiosnhip with his wife.

--Some of the Jarls are secretly hoping the Empire wins the Civil War so they can demand reparations to rebuild their hold cities.

--All the hold cities have a particular scent: Winterhold smells of fresh snow and pine mixed with a slight seabreeze coming up the cliff. Windhelm reeks of dankness, smoke from fireplaces and waste. Dawnstar smells of the sea, snowberries and the smoke from the smelters. Solitude smells of like damp stone, flowers and moss, with a tinge of urine, wine and fish. Markarth smells of smeltering metal, charcoal, stone and stale mead. Morthal stinks of algae, mold, both freshly sawn and rotting wood...and maybe blood. Whiterun smells of ale, grass, aged wood, cabbage and Gildergreen blossoms. Falkreath smells of rain, nightshade, freshly sawn wood and goat manure. Riften stinks to high hell of fish, fermenting mead and mildew.

The Dragonborn has undergone rigorous training that has resulted in his/her ability to go without food or water indefinitely.

Most daedric princes don't exist, they are just fabrications of the Wizard of Oz.

Akatosh created skeevers during the Second Era by breeding giant weasels with plague rats from Dunwall.

Maiq's name is actually a little joke, as he is actually very honest. He functions as a sort of messenger between the caravans.

Tiber Septim isn't Talos, he's Lorkan/Shor, it's just a theory, take a look: Mantling - The Elder Scrolls Wiki

But here's a little tidbit that is actually in the game, if you can put two and two together. Idolaf and Alfhild Battle-Born are Brother and sister, and they are the biological parents of Lars Battle-Born. It's true. Anyone with the CK can find it, (hint: it's in the relationship tab)
