there will always be exceptions in society its not you daughters fault that she doesnt follow societies norm thats whats called a variable statistic and itdoesn't happen very often your daughter just does not have the same genetic disposition as everyone else which could be a good thing, or a bad thing..only time will tell

"The phenomenon is called precocious puberty. Some doctors think it is happening with greater frequency since the 1990s, especially among girls. Many factors have been implicated: hormones in food, hormone-mimicking pollutants in the waterways, and even social issues, such as sex in the mass media and single motherhood."

That's from the site you just linked. It's apparent that you're unaware of the difference between "implicated" and "scientifically proven". At one point in history, it was implicated that the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around us.

Newsflash, those statistics can be wrong. Science can be wrong, scientists can be wrong. You are lumping the whole of humanity into one convenient statistic. As I've said, everyone develops differently. By your amazing logic, a child getting raped could in fact cause their bodies to hit puberty. After all, they experienced sex!

just because someone experiences sex doesnt make their sexual organs grow faster it takes time for the body to pick up on the sexual cues of their partners, and getting raped would more than likely stump your sexual maturation because of the damage it causes. Also it would cause the rape victim to stray away from sexual manners further reinforcing the point

And all the evidence your are using against my points is Implicated so I guess your points invalidates our whole discussion. Now we're both wrong because of your statement, we aren't scientists we don't have the true meanings. Were both implicating things so if you use that point we are both rather all three of us entirely wrong.

"More than likely"....not a phrase you want to use if trying to prove a scientific point. I do completely agree that someone that is raped is more likely to shy away from sexual activity, but her body won't slow down the start of her menstrual cycle.

As for your post, the concept of a girl getting pregnant without going through ovulation is what I don't buy. Ovulation is part of the menstrual cycle and the egg going from the ovary to the uterus is how pregnancy can happen. End of.

Ah, like I said, it is very uncommon. Perhaps I am missing a few details. Hmm, I'll see if I can find physical sources for it because I couldn't find anything on the web I could easily provide.

Well, I know that the environment of where the girl is can influence when she gets her period, like the heat.

So a child who experiences sexual intercourse would not develop faster, but a child who witnesses it would?

I agree entirely with you post, I'm not proving a scientific point I'm proving an Ethical point and all my statements, just like yours are written based upon personal observance and literal relations

I actually have a degree in Biology-Ecology, so YOU may not be a scientist.

Also I was not using that site as the basis of my argument in the first place i googled it about 10 minutes ago, and it states something rather than what i was stating, how could you possibly use that as evidence?
Funny, you were pretty quick to use it as evidence.....

well of course I used it as Evidence but you did not see the ironic situation i was pointing out. You have an opinion I have an opinion and Scientists, who I honestly though were sure of that post, have an opinion it doesn't matter, were always going to be locked in debate. But I don't really enjoy this hostile environment, I have not been rude to you Cowboy only the other. And I recognize your intelligence, as I see it for myself. Lets move this to an elaboration of Ideals rather than a hostile destruction of Ideas

Nutrition. Children are reaching the body size/weight predetermined by our genes to trigger puberty at an earlier age. This is a survival trait.

There are also some indications that man made hormones in our food/water supply may have some impact, like synthetic Estrogen, produced by plastic manufacturing. More than likely it is a number of causes.
