I've ran into quiet a few issues since I downloaded this dlc, before I only had one persistant glitch in the entire game, which would be the companion's quest line, six restarts and eight glitches later is finally worked though. I wish I could undo these dlc downloads so my game would work again(which I have tried but then skyrim don't work at all, even on a new game). I may be a die hard Elder Scrolls fan but I'm reaching my limit with all of their damn glitches.
1. My game would never freeze up before this, now it freezes up many (10+) times a day. It's making syrim miserable to play, even though I save like mad it's still frustrating me. I was even desperate enough to replace my skyrim disc in case that was part of the problem because it was a bit scratched, it didn't fix it though. It'll freeze on the loading screen, in battle, on saving, it's frozen up doing pretty much anything. The only plus is I usually get some warning beforehand now, it'll get super laggy right before it freezes and occasionally I'll get lucky and be able to save it before it freezes.
2. Rescuing the Skaal blacksmith was glitched up. I rescued him but back at the village I didn't get the required dialogue to complete the quest for days.
3. Before downloading the new dlc's I never had an miscellaneous quest glitches, now even when I finish a miscellaneous quest, get the reward and everything, it'll say quest completed, but the quest never moves out of my miscellaneous quests. I now how over 20 quests I have completed but they won't leave the list. Making them active doesn't do anything either, you don't get quest markers or anything it's like they simply don't exist. This no longer just happens with quests on the dlc, it is now affecting skyrim quests.
4. At the summit of apocrypha, no matter what I do when I read it won't transport me to apocrypha. Three restarts haven't fixed this either, making he quest line impossible to finish.
5. I often get the endless blue abyss glitch when i go into buildings/cities or exit them, and trying to reload a previous save often freezes the game. I'm often forced to go two or three saves back for it even to load again.
6. Blood Scythe will not stay on a weapon rack, I own all Hearthfire houses and all of the other houses and have literally tried putting it on ever last weapon rack.
7. Every time I kill a dragon it either won't fall apart, or on the rare occasions is does the idiot steals it from me. I've gotten one soul from the last 16 dragons I've killed. This is one of the most irritating glitches.
8. I've asked my steward/housecarl to furnish my house, they take my gold but it never gets furnished. All three houses had this issues.
9. Serana as a follower, will slowly over time be able to carry less and less until even if she is carrying nothing at all you won't be able to even give her a single leather strip (0.1 lbs). No fixes I've seen for this have worked, making her a rather useless follower if your planning on major loot.
I know there's more that I'm not thinking of right now. Since I got this damned DLC I have completely restarted nine time, which is hundreds of hours of game play and still it doesn't work with a crud. It's driving me up the wall.
P.S. I think I read somewhere that some races and gender combos are more glitchy then others. I've tried various different race/gender combos without much luck, anyone have a good race/gender combo that seems to work consistently?
i found this glitch where 2 dead bodies, a skeleton and moose were dead, but were still standing and moving, but the moose was floating, it was really creepy
