Thalmor 3rd Emissary
I think Ysolda in Whiterun and Sylgja from Shor's Stone are both good options for a common Nord, Aela and the female companions are a bit too manly + I would rather not marry a lowly warrior or housecarl. Personally I could not possibly stand the thought of a Nord contaminating my blood line, such a thing is preposterous for a Member of the Thalmor.

It's a shame there aren't more Redguard women available for marriage for my poor Azzedine. He doesn't find Rayya particularly attractive and the woman from the Temple of Dibella, from what I've gathered, doesn't move in with the character after marriage. Hiss!

You want some advice? Don't marry! She won't let you play Skyrim. Oh, your talking about in game marriage? Sorry.
Like everyone else said, Aela the Huntress is the perfect wife if you're a nord warrior that likes some hunting.

You should marry mjoll. It somewhat reminds you how annoying a real wife is, always yapping and yapping about stories she has told more than a hundred times. Not to mention that she cheats RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU AND THE CHILDREN. Shameless. I'd kill Aerin if it didn't make her sad.

Make it look like an accident ;)

In my house, it's more like I am always telling him to go play Skyrim himself so I don't have to listen to him complain about how boring my play style is to watch (lots of console commands and stopping to get screenshots).

The hottest Redguard in my opinion is Saadia... but unfortunately she is not available. -.-

He needs to rise his hands up to the heavens and thanks to all the possible Gods that you play it too! My wife hates any kind of game! It's not a big deal and I don't hate my wife for that, but I need to make a schedule to play it. :D

Honestly I like the choices for male spouses better than the ones for female spouses, and not just because I'm a hetero chick. There are just a few more interesting choices with the male ones. But a lack of racial diversity a problem with both and that's very annoying.

Most of the choices are Nords but my Breton Rogue just seems like the kind of guy who'd be more afraid of Nord women rather than digging them. Breton spousal options are very few, and one (Senna) is apparently prone to be glitchy while another (Nuiri) requires a lot of questing along the DBH quest line. Without good Breton options, I decided my Rogue seemed like the type who'd be into Imperial women--tall, smart, refined, not threatening to punch him in the gut every other day. I RP him as having a secret "friends with benefit" relationship with Carlotta Valentia that everyone in Whiterun knows about but pretends they don't. But she's not a marriage candidate, so i had him marry Gilfre as a kind of Carlotta substitute and moved her to Honeyside so she wouldn't find out about Carlotta. And it actually turned out great for my RPing because whenever he goes home to Gilfre the first thing she says to him is to go get an axe and chop some firewood, which I find hilarious. If any woman married a guy like my Rogue IRL, they'd probably figure out very quickly that he needs someone to kick him in the posterior and make a honest dude out of him, if that's at all possible. And naturally, it gives my Rogue plenty of motivation to go out adventuring and questing when he has a spouse at home who hounds him about getting a "real" job.

A future option for a Breton is Muiri in Markarth. You might find her quest... unsavory, though. And you certainly won't even think about cheating on her.

If only it were possible to marry her without doing the darkbrother hood quests, Perhaps her asking you to kill the guy anyway.

:D :beermug: Awlrighty ppl and a good evening to u

Lydia was my 1st bit of Skyrim female action but she died on me quite early on in the game before i knew about marriage so when i found out i married Aela as i joined the "Companions" and then the "Companions Circle" which is only exclusive to Werewolves so we had a bit in common you know bad breath, long nails, furry nostrils, She is the best by a long shot ( Good bow technique )...BUT be prepared to do ENDLESS  Animal Exterminations for her.
And if you do marry her you will need a plunger as the amount of hair she leaves in the shower of a morning is shocking.
My second choice would be Ysolda ..a very fine lady indeed and always very pleasant to me in Whiterun market as i run past her on a daily basis also one hell of a cook id imagine , all i get from Aela is a crusty Apple pie or one of them sweets on a twig looks like a Wrong Shiesh Kebab.
I think there is a same sex or same species type of thing also available but i never went down that path im Exit only ;)
Who ever you go for they all have some perks you wouldn't get if you were a lone wolf ( excuse me being a werewolf i say wolf alot ) i used to be a werewolf but im alright NooOOOoOOOoOoOOW *Cough* howling is so hard with this bloomin cold i have
Good luck dude Happy Hunting of the Lady kind <3 and wiv your name " HardCore" id deffo go for Aela

Pfft, been there, done that.

Man, that was one f@&#*! up night...

LOL.

Alas, I made the mistake of doing this quest with a high speech. I was like, okay, Dibella priestess, what's going on, and then some guy wants his pet, but, well, that's okay, don't need her that badly, talk to the chic in Whiterun, but she's very forgiving and doesn't need me to do anything either, and I end up with Sam, and he apologizes for pulling a prank, and I'm like, Prank? What are you talking about, dude?

A quest best done fairly early, methinks.

Really? I've never been terribly pleased with the choices of male spouses available. The amount of men in Skyrim that I'd be interested in marrying don't even take up all the fingers on one hand to count up. Which is probably one of the contributing reasons why I've only ever married once in over one thousand hours of gameplay. I guess the Men of the North just aren't my type.
