Grogmar Ghrobash

'Tis better to be alone, then of bad company.
I sobbed all the way through Machine Gun Preacher.

And has anyone seen that episode of Futurama where Fry was planning to clone his old dog? F#ck me, the ending credits had me traumatized.

That episode was so sad...I never thought I would ever see a Futurama episode that provoked such emotion. It's one of my favorite episodes.

Irish

Thane of Solitude
The first movie I ever cried during was Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, when Judge Doom melted that poor little shoe in a barrel of Dip.

Movies that make me cry now are The Notebook, Life is Beautiful, and the end of Toy Story 3.

Teritus

Giving it to you straight since 1869
The Terminator. Who among us didn't shed a tear when his little red eye went out in the end and he didn't get to kill all those people?

Captain Nagisus

Jake the Dog!
Nothing. Not the Seymour Butts episode of Futurama, not Up...not even the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

Medea

The Shadow Queen
Actually, I cried when the Incredible Hulk died in the made for TV movie The Death of the Incredible Hulk, starring Bill Bixby. Made in 1990, it was the last Hulk movie Bill Bixby starred in, because he died of cancer in 93. The series with him in it was actually pretty good, if you ignore the fact that Bixby's version of the Hulk could be hurt by gunfire, and die from a 100 foot drop off of a helicopter. GAWD this makes me feel old.

Speaking of sad, the ending theme song to the show was one of the most iconic "sad songs" of all time.

This is an addition to my previous posts of the movies that mad me shed a tear.
Sam (the dog) dying in I Am Legend.

It is very sad to lose your pet. Getting them as a puppy and watching them grow, then watching them get old and pass, whether by natural causes, by sickness, or by a tragic accident, it's terrible.

But this scene in this movie. Oh my lord. The man lost his entire family from this disease, the entire world as he may have known it was over. His dog was literally the only thing that made him wake up everyday. It was the only thing that made him happy, and it helped him cope with his losses.

SPOILER! DO NO READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE MOVIE TO BE SPOILED.

For the people who haven't seen I Am Legend yet, Will Smith was caught in a trap and knocked out in the process by the leader of these infected people, he was knocked out for hours and woke up when it was dark in New York City - night time was when the infected could come out of the buildings (the sun burns them). His dog stayed under Will Smith (he was suspended by his feet hanging upside down) the entire time he was knocked out. When Will Smith woke up, the sun was just about to set, he was able to cut himself down just as the infected leader sent infected dogs after him. He ran for his car, and Sam helped fend off the infected dogs, but was bitten in the process (being bitten is bad).

They get out of the rough situation and get home. Will Smith is a doctor and goes to his underground lab to treat Sam, but the wound is too severe that Sam dies in Will Smith's arms. As sad as that is, Sam actually comes back alive as an infected dog and tries to kill Will Smith, and Will Smith is forced to kill his one best friend in this world. Watch and allow your eyes to ball.

The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (knowing that the trilogy is coming to an end.)

I assume all of you have seen the greatest Trilogy of all time, so I will not put a spoiler alert.

There were a bunch of amazing ending scenes in Return of the King, I wasn't balling my eyes out but I was deeply saddened and borderline depressed at knowing it was the end. Aragorn being crowned King of Gondor, and Frodo and Bilbo going with the Elves to the Undying Lands were great scenes, but this scene before all of that was when it finally hit me.

I did this out of boredom, but I hoped you liked this post.

Soloquendi

Pastor of Muppets
The Whole Wide World, about Robert E. Howard, the creator of Conan. Smoke Signals, the poem at the end.

Mufasa's death scarred me for life, but the one scene that still leaves me with a big lump in my chest is the ending of Terminator 2.

Punz

Dark Lord of Skyrim

I cried too. I used to watch that show all the time as a kid. That movie left me with a hole in my chest for a while. Man, I got to watch some re-runs. It's been a while since I've seen the show.

Forest Gump gets me every time. And it gets me more and more as I get older.

"Were you scared in Vietnam, Forest?"

"Yes. Well, I-I don't know. Sometimes it would stop raining long enough for the stars to come out... and then it was nice. It was like just before the sun goes to bed down on the bayou. There was always a million sparkles on the water... like that mountain lake. It was so clear, Jenny, it looked like there were two skies one on top of the other. And then in the desert, when the sun comes up, I couldn't tell where heaven stopped and the earth began. It's so beautiful."
"I wish I could have been there with you."

"You were."

Ohhhhh!!! *tears up*

Ohhhh and little Forest!!!
"Forest, don't... I just wanted to tell you I love you."

"I love you too, Dad."

SO MANY FEELS RIGHT NOW

You died on a Saturday morning. And I had you placed here under our tree. And I had that house of your father's bulldozed to the ground. Momma always said dyin' was a part of life. I sure wish it wasn't. Little Forrest, he's doing just fine. About to start school again soon. I make his breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. I make sure he combs his hair and brushes his teeth every day. Teaching him how to play ping-pong. He's really good. We fish a lot. And every night, we read a book. He's so smart, Jenny. You'd be so proud of him. I am. He, uh, wrote a letter, and he says I can't read it. I'm not supposed to, so I'll just leave it here for you. Jenny, I don't know if Momma was right or if, if it's Lieutenant Dan. I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time. I miss you, Jenny. If there's anything you need, I won't be far away.

I'm srsly crying right now at work. Haha!

Monolith

The Progeny of Vikings
Forrest Gump was pretty sad. I also remember crying as a child when I watched that dinosaur animation, what was it called.. the one where the momma dinosaur dies and the little one is left to fend for itself.

The only film that has ever jerked a tear out of me as a grown man was The Road. I wasn't bawling my eyes out or anything, but I do admit to a few teardrops. First time I watched it I felt like I had just emerged from a concentration camp afterwards; it was an immense emotional ordeal. Took me about 20 minutes to realize what I had just seen, and then BAM!

Melee

I'm back, bitches
The only movie that has ever, and continues to, make me cry is the Lion King. Simba crying about his dad dying is just too much for me to handle. I lost it in the movie theater when it came out in 3D.

Yup, that one with Adam Sandler.

I know right? fluff but when he was on the ground in the rain dying, I don't know man, I just don't know what happened to my eyes..they just started watering up I couldn't control myself.

Luckily I was in the theater and no one saw what happened. I never speak of the moment where I cried during Click. This stays between us.
