Ok so my wife finally approved me to buy a gaming pc lol. :p I found one and here's the parts list (vague I know but I'll have a better description when I go to look at it tomorrow.)

Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula IV
CPU: AMD phenom II x6 six core processor running at 4.0ghz
Video Card: Nvidia GTX 570
8 GB of RAM (Kingston Hyper x)
500 Gig hard drive
Case: Corsair Obsidian 800D
Wireless network card
Blu Ray player
700 watt power supply

Price: $900.00 Soooo... good deal or not so much? (I already have a 32" dynex lcd 1080p to go with it along with a saitek keyboard and razer naga mouse)

Basic needs are: Hopefully maxing out Skyrim and SWTOR.

Sounds like a good deal. The CPU/Vid Card/RAM/HDD are pushing $700-$800. Network card/BlueRay player/PSU/case are another $150-$200 depending on brands.

Are you getting these parts barebones or pre-built rig?

It's the rig pictured above. I know how to check it all out and everything as I used to be a pretty hardcore pc gamer lol, but as it's been a year or so I really am not up to speed on the "new".

It'll run Skyrim and SWTOR on high like nothing. Looks like it's water cooled too. (Definite BONUS)
Brought the computer home last night, so far it's absolutely amazing. Even came with Skyrim, Battlefield 3 and Dirt 3. Maxed them all out. :D

The Corsair case alone is $200, so from the look of things you've got a great deal there!

Wow dude, you just ripped off whoever you bought that from lol. Nah, it's pretty hard to sell gaming rigs. I helped my friend build a $1,200 gaming rig and he put it on ebay for around $1,000 and didn't get not one bid. Your big plus is the water cooling. You'll never have to worry about that thing overheating unless he put in cheap cooling liquid.
