She's extremely disorganized and distracted. Maybe she was looking for her missing ingots or her dwemer spoon or whatever. Silly woman!

Maybe she mistook the ceiling for the floor, and started walking around up there. Everything was going fine until, like a Bugs Bunny cartoon, she suddenly realized what she was doing, and fell in a puff of smoke. Is there a coyote-shaped hole in the wall nearby?
