What is your main weapon?

For long range I use my Dragonbone Bow with Soul Trap with Daedric Arrows. For Close combat, I dual wield the Nightingale Blade and a Nordic Sword with Absorb health and Soul Trap. I'm thinking of swithching it up an putting chaos damage on it

when I'm really getting my ass kicked, ill pull out my staff of paralysis

I also use Dead Thrall since I have a Thrall with me almost all the time, so does that count as well since my Thrall is basically another weapon with weapons?

Almost forgot, Red Eagle's Ancient Nord Greatsword of Burning. Probably the longest name of any weapon in the game, and pretty easy to get early on if you know how to do that fight. (Hint, bring a bow, and a follower.)

For my assassin, daedric bow, fiery soultrap & absorb stamina for long range and dragons, up close & juicy, 2 daedric daggers, both with absorb health, paralyze on one, frost on the other for RP purpose, lol!

My melee uses a dragonbone axe with absorb health & stamina.

All weapons are fully smithed and obviously extra effect in Enchanting.

Love AbStam and Frost on Bows (For the slow effect.) Archers need all the mobility advantages they can take advantage of. That bow sounds nasty!

I used to go frost on my ebony bow for the same reason!

But somehow, I have this affinity with old arthritic hands, at hitting moving targets! So making 'em crispy before they find me, and filling a soul gem, warm my heart...up close is when I freeze and paralyze them as I whisper in their ear!

Scimitars smith up to some respectable damage, and nothing looks better on a Redguard!

Not arguing, bro, Love Firey Soul Trap, one of the best enchantments in the game once you get Extra Effect, just clarifying. The extra Stamina from draining really helps sprinting through maneuvers, not to mention zooming in, amiright? Just slight variations on the same theme.

I'm a female Breton but wield dual maces... a Legendary Dwarven mace with some enchantments and the Mace of Moliqie or whatever it's called.

Usually I go with a bow, a crossbow, a dagger, a sword, and the oh so delightfully awesome Sanguine Rose.

For my next playthrough, I'm guessing my top weapons will be Auriel's Bow, The Blade of Woe, an Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow, and a Dragonbone Sword.

I mainly start out sneaking using an elven bow, then when it comes to close quarters I use Dawn Breaker. Currently only level 17. I'm loving the sword though.

Depending on the character, either destruction magic or the Awesominator, a legendary dragonbone bow with Soul Trap and Absorb Health enchantments.

Secondary weapon(s) of choice are always dragonbone daggers, which I dual wield. Enchantments also depend on the character, but at least one has to have Soul Trap.

Sometimes I make my off hand a sword, it's slower but the left hand spin act you do with a dagger every time you crit, slows your attack speed in a brawl, gimps DPS by 20%, fun stuffs!

At the moment, with an orc, it is a orcish mace with 10 points of frost damage.

My favorite weapon overall is an ebony bow.

My main weapon has been my Ebony Sword that I have yet to rename and enchant. Being that it has stuck down many enemies it has enough experience in combat contained in it to fill a chapter book with.

I really like Ebony swords. Tareth dual-wields two of them, or one Ebony sword and one Ebony axe, depending on which enchantment I want to use. With a 1h enchantment (gantlets), some paralysis potions and two Ebony swords, she tore through the DB sanctuary in no time on Expert. Faizah also uses an Ebony sword in her non-casting hand. I love how they look and how fast and easy they are to wield. Don't really care that they aren't to highest rated for damage--I prefer being able to move quickly to higher damage, especially with Tareth and Faizah as their style of combat is very athletic as opposed to just power and aggression. Plus Ebony swords look so snazzy as they pierce through an enemy's skull.

Saozig has all Daedric weapons--a sword, a bow and a warhammer. Of those, probably the warhammer is my favorite. Not the most elegant weapon, but it's reliable for Master level difficultly.

Eiron's main weapon is an Elven bow. I really like Elven bows for their speed--the only faster bow I know is Dragonbone, but since I don't have DG it's not available to me
