In your opinion, who is the most powerful Daedric Prince?

If I were going to do that, I would probably have Meridia turncoat, and side with the Aedra in a war against an Undead incursion. I always saw the possibilities of Necromancy, set your army against theirs, and raise the fallen in the melee' until they were fighting their ex-allies, and eventually there would be no one left but zombies. The question is, which Daedric Prince would most likely be the power behind the Necromancers? Possibly Molag Bal, or Boethia playing puppetmaster to the Necromancers with a secret motive (To be revealed toward the end by the hero, of course) would fit the bill? I sure wish they'd fix the problem with not having enough bodies on the field for a realistic massed battle, but the ESOL engine shows promise in this regard. It might break the Radiant engine outright to do it the way I have it envisioned.

Actually I don't think they can die. Once you slay them, they just come back after a time span. Like when you take out Daggoth Ur, and even Mehrunes Dagon, they just come back lol.

Also I believe the other princes would of killed Sheo if they could, but the only thing they could do was limit his power by making him become sheo - which couldn't even be held completely.

That also being said, I think the Aedra cannot even kill them completely. It's rather interesting =o - I would love to see or even make (if i can get a good computer) a mod for a war between some Daedra, and Aedra.

Umm, since when was Daggoth Ur a Daedra? I get that he was one of the god-LIKE dunmer Tribunal members, but an actual Daedra? Would you explain this please?

Way I figure it, Dagon needed an insanely complicated plan to cross over, Nocturnal and Mora seem to need artifacts, Meridia was a ball of light, Azura was just a voice, Boethiah used corpses, and even Molag could only use cheap tricks and a spooky voice. Sanguine was just all, 'I think I'll just hop over to Mundus, flawlessly impersonate a mortal, and mess around with the Dovahkiin!'. That's more than the rest can say.

Ah my mistake, in all honesty I played and beat morrowind when i was around 14 - I am now 20 - and although I have a great memory, I seemed to have either not payed attention or forgot about him being daedra like, and not an actual prince lol.

but my point still stands =3

Ok, I understand, my memory from a few years back, when I was around 14 as well, generalized things a bit as well. Ex: evil antagonist = daedra, etc.

I think that aedra and daedra can be killed, but they're just not likely to be. Mortals probably only have a very rare chance of doing so. For example when the Nerevarine killed Hircine in Bloodmoon it only banished him for a while. More powerful forces can definitely do the trick, though. Lorkhan, for one, was offed by the other aedra (and some daedra too?).

I haven't seen anybody stick up for Hircine, so I will. Sure, he's the daedric prince of the hunt, but he surrounds himself with werewolves! That's gotta account for something. And those of us that played way too much Oblivion should remember his statue in Cyrodiil resembling an demonic, antlered centaur (very cool looking indeed.) He's a little crazy when it comes to spilling blood since when you kill all the hunters instead of Sinding, he'll say something like, "Oh, it's fine that you didn't kill Sinding, as long as there was a lot of bloodshed and slaughter. We're cool."

By the way, since Hircine well-known as the demon king of werewolves, is there a daedric prince that presides over vampires? I'm led to believe its' Sanguine, but there's nothing to firmly support that that i've found, other than the vampire disease being called "Sanguinare Vampiris." What's the deal with that?

It's Molag Bal. He Made them.

Oh. I never would have guessed. Well, looks like I'm doing the Markarth house quest now that I know who my dark lord is. Thank ye!

Mehrunes Dagon wins as "The Most Powerful Daedric Prince" because of the amount of times he tried to conquer Tamriel and he almost did. In second place, it's Molag Bal because he was the one that created the Vampires and is the main enemy in ESO. His daedric realm, Coldharbour; which is a copy of Nirn (the planet TES takes place) but everything is desecrated and ruined with the ground is sludge, the sky is on fire, and the air is freezing. That's a place I would like to visit.

I think Clavicus Vile is most powerfull. Being the daedric lord of power & having the ability to kill the entire population of the province of skyrim must count for something, right?

As much as I would love to say Sheogorath because he is my favourite, I think its either Molag Bal or Hermaeus Mora.

If Molag Bal isn't the most powerful, I definitely think he is the most dangerous.

I too would have to say Hermaeus Mora. The others have some great powers, and as much as I like Azura and Meridia, I'd have to say "Ole Hermie" as he's sometimes known is probably the most powerful.

It would be a close toss up between Hermaues Mora and Molag Baal, both are extremely powerful to the point of mortals not even being worth bothering with other than for there own personal amusement but its hard to say which one is more powerful, Old Hermaues is the keeper of knowledge itself and Molag Baal is literally the incarnation of all things vile. My personal favorite is Sheogarath, he may not be the most powerful far from it but he certainly is the coolest imho. :Dovahkiin:

Mora or Dagon. Its a situation of brains and bronze. If youve played oblivion then you can see what he looks like and it took akatosh the chief of the divines to defeat him.

Well it is a fact that Sheogorath was the most powerful (under his other name which I can't remember).
And I'm not joking, google that plops.
But now I honestly think that the most powerful daedric prince is Hermeus Mora. That guy knows to much for his own good.

Sheograth!,What Cheese?! Yup i went with Sheograth for his madness and you know.. THE WABBAJACK!!! He can Turn whatever he want to a simple little tiny rabbit and then blast him with another shot of the wabbajack that might do a fire rune on him!

Prolly going to get lynched for this, but whatever. Hermie is a big, fat pussy tentacle bitch in the fact that if he is "all knowning" then why hasn't taken out his enemies and, figuratively speaking, marked his territory and become the big dog? Honestly, he is a dork who has glued his eyes to his books.
