Hello all

I just joined your forum this a.m. after finding Shirley Curry (Gaming Grandma) on Youtube. Her video encouraged me to try again, to play Skyrim but I am not finding the info I need.

I want to know the best places to purchase the game online? I see Microsoft has it for 50 dollars, but I want to also know if that's the best price option I might find, and, I don't know which version to buy? There's Anniversary Version, Special Edition Etc.? Just some feedback would be much appreciated.

I do have a PC, a Gaming PC and pretty sure it is well-able to run the game. Here's the stats for anyone that comes to my rescue ;):D

Device name DESKTOP-5GMHQ60
Processor AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.50 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (5.92 GB usable)
Device ID 36391D55-5233-49C0-A667-E5E1AC1189F6
Product ID 00325-80204-94877-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 21H1
Installed on ‎7/‎29/‎2021
OS build 19043.1348
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0

If you need any further info, let me know, thank you in advance for any help :b: PS I don't see the option, but does this forum have a "white" background option?

No replies here so I think I'll just get the Anniversary Edition at Steam if I can. I tried The Turing Test and couldn't handle the character's movement on her own. It was making me dizzy. I like to be in control of the movements. I don't know what it might be like with some sort of beast coming out of nowhere in Skyrim though.

You can tell I have a lot to learn. I'll watch more of Shirley Curry's videos because she moves around like I would in the game ;)

Unless you are getting Skyrim for an older console I would say your best bet is to go about things just the way you plan to. Although you could also wait for any black Friday sales that may pop up, which might drop the price. It's a game that is well worth the investment and has replayability beyond any game I've come across. I hope you enjoy it and find yourself getting lost in the game as many of us here have done since its release.

Thank you, and those I've talked to say the same as far as the game being worth every penny :) I appreciate your reply, and if I do get hooked, I'll come spend a lot of time here is my guess :D Thanks so much!!
