So...I've been gone a little while, but if you'd have me, I've got a character in mind.

Welcome back. I should have Merric introduced a little later today.

    Harkatti

    Sorceress Supreme!
@Rafen hopefully you don't mind that I had Dren be a little more on edge than usual. It made sense to me that both he and Zarr would be nervous with so many people around all of a sudden.

    Name: Ysane Linwe

Age- 78, looks to be in her mid twenties, due to her elvish aging.

    Sex- Female

    Race- Altmer

    Class- Bladedancer

    Sexuality- Heterosexual

    Marital Status- Single

    Laterality- Ambidextrous

    Afflictions-N/A

Religion- Loosely worships the eight, but prefers to meditate over her blades, and the art of her 'dance' rather than praying to any god.

Appearance- Ysane has a dancers' body, athletic, lithe, and not terribly curvy. Her skin is a pale gold, notable paler than most of her kin. She has high cheekbones, and an thin, almost gaunt face. Her irises are a deeper gold than her skin, but just barely. Her hair is a dark red, almost black, but lightens slightly at the tips.

She wears no fancy jewelerly and has no tattoos, but that's not to say she is unmarked. The right side of her face, starting at just beneath her right ear and ending at her chin is marked by what seem to be three jagged claw marks. The scars are old, and have faded with time, but definitely count as a distinguishing mark.

She has two marks that are made by neither blade nor claw. The thalmor sigil is branded onto the back of her neck, and her right wrist. These, she keeps hidden as best she can, not wanting to be seen as a Thalmor operative in Stormcloak controlled Skyrim.
    Gear

Armor- Very fine, light elven scale mail, the scales of which are about half an inch in size and diamond shaped. This covers her torso and shoulders. She wears no armour on her legs, the better to help her move when in battle. Her boots almost come up to her knees and are made of a dark leather. She wears bracers of matching material, but no gauntlets or gloves.

Weapons- A pair of masterfully crafted and balanced scimitars, forged from moonstone and slimmer than the typical alikir blades.

    Known Spells- None

Misc. gear (clothing/jewellery/etc.) A brown traveling cloak. Under her armour she wears a thin, long sleeved grey tunic. She wears black trousers. A purple scarf of thin material is always wrapped around her neck and lower face. The material is more to conceal her features than to provide warmth, and is thin enough that she can speak unimpeded.

Personality- Having spent the better part of a decade as a stormcloak prisoner, Ysane is not the most trusting or cheerful of people. She is extremely cautious in her dealings, and will remain to the back of whatever group she finds herself in. She has no thoughts of elven superiority, despite the brands on her skin. She follows the laws of the land, not wanting to draw attention to herself, but she is by no means a coward.

    Likes- Crowds, outdoors, her swords.

Dislikes- Solitude, stormcloaks, confinement/confined spaces. Thalmor.

Combat Preference- Her preference is one on one battle, but she can take on small groups of enemies with her dual blades. Her combat style is reminiscent of a ballerinas' movement, spinning and twirling her way through the battlefield. One on one, she is a whirling dervish of steel, carving through their defences.

Background- Originally a sailor for the dominion, Ysane served aboard a warship for most of her early life. She was looked down upon by some for not dedicating herself to the arcane arts, but her bladework often silenced any naysayers.

Despite those she served, she had very little love for the Thalmor and their methods. Unfortunately for her, the Thalmor quickly realized that she wasn't as loyal as she pretended to be.

When on route to Solitude via ship, she was confronted by the thalmor agent and his retinue, who had decided to make an example of her in front of the crew. Jumping overboard, she swam to shore and managed to survive on her own until the end of the civil war.

Ysanes' misfortune continued, and she was quickly caught by a stormcloak patrol. The civil war ended soon after, and she was thrown in prison. For the better part of a decade, she was interrogated about Thalmor outposts and safehouses in Skyrim.

Eventually, a riot broke out in the prison, and Ysane reclaimed her weapons and armour, and fled. While on the run, she heard of the mysterious vanishings, and seeks to join a band of adventurers, hoping to clear her name and perhaps buy passage back to the isles.

    Dialogue color(s)- This.

Alright, Aethalia, Ysane is in. And with that, we are officially closed for applicants. Introduction post is on the way.

So before I edit my post, does anyone have a problem with Argus declaring himself group spokesperson/leader?

    TheShadedOne

    The Angry One
I don't have a problem, as long as he's a spokesperson and the rest od the group isn't chained to doing whatever he (Argus) wants.

Well, what I mean by 'leader' is more the face of the group. We can discuss what we want to do in or out of character, while Argus serves as the voice of the group. Of course, @Madrar will have final say on everything.

I trust your judgement, Thesius. I'll provide story prompts for the main plotline out of character, but otherwise I'm happy to have Argus as the voice/face of the group.

Go ahead and make your edit. That'll get the ball moving for me to have the captain give tou guys some context. As far as everyone else knows, people are vanishing, and the most recent is from the dragon bridge area. The captain will point you in the right direction.

Alright, it's edited. Sorry for any spelling errors, but it is an ungodly hour where I am, and I do need to work in the morning.

@Aethalia I've had Merric notice movement by the door in case you wanted to introduce your character that way. Based on her backstory, I'm assuming she wouldn't want to be in a tavern with three stormcloaks keeping an eye on everyone.

So I should be able to post in a couple of hours. I think I've got at least one person waiting on a response from me, so, sorry.

You can run, but you'll only die tired...
Aha I don't think I'll bet against the probability anyway haha. I'll try to get a post up tonight or tomorrow morning.
