That would be pretty sick, and if they had them like in daedric and dragonbone.

A flail? I can already imagine the Shoutbox jokes.

I can see potential there, although it may be challenging to program. The flail was intended to be used as a weapon of momentum--you would swing it in circles to pick up momentum so when it hit the opponent's armor, it do so with more force. It was chiefly an armor-piercing weapon. Also, it's a weapon that, if not wielded properly, can do the wielder a lot of damage. It'd be cool if they could program it like that where you could do more powerful attacks when you gained enough momentum with it (and required the appropriate amount of stamina, as flail wielding was pretty arduous, hence why it fell out of combat fashion), and also if you're being an idiot with it, you hurt yourself pretty badly.

Long-handled, two-handed flails were pretty interesting: you used the chained ball to damage your opponent's armor and then use the long handle as a bludgeoning weapon, to do close melee with your now more vulnerable opponent.

We need a spear too. Ridiculous not to have spears. Furthermore, Lydia is a huscarl. Huscarls form a shield wall. Although women are not huscarls either. It is a bit odd to have them be, but oh well. Anyway all huscarls have spears. The jarls guards would also have them or polearms. The other thing bear are hunted with spears. Cave bears were certainly hunted with spears unless you want to be at a severe disadvantage. LOL!!! So, I am not sure why they don't have them. I heard something about the combat system is the reason. Is that true? If it is fine, but I hope in the next game they implement them. I also hope they do not detract the good things from this game. They love to do things like that with the version of a game.

In terms of coding wise, Bethesda could do it with the animation like Miraaks sword (except actually adding the attacking distance) with the mechanics of the bow. You hold down the trigger (or mouse) and the swing animation starts and is timed like a bow's drawback.

If anything, I think a mod for this is possible although the animation would probably be the hardest part :D
