I was talking about Bethesda's target demographic for GAME SALES and the fact that putting nads on dragons might mean that they need to rethink who their target for game sales is aimed at.

Meh, forget I said anything. If you have to explain a joke it's not a good one.
No, no I got it...I think I did atleast. Anyway you are right though.

What do you mean, "this is just for humor"? Anyone here would want to know if there are females or males in Skyrim's dragons. I sure as heck want to know and that is my own theory. Plus, how do YOU know they don't breed or mate? (and if you say "because 'There Be Dragons' said so" then we can just call this conversation over.)
I think the opening picture with a big 'ol circle with a question mark over where the dragon's ballsack should be was a clear indicator this was just for amusement purposes....

And by "should be," I mean where it is in most vertebrates....

For starters, the pic was supposed to be an example. I geuss it mainly depends on how you looks at the entire conversation. Many people here actually look this up and stumble upon this forum article (like I did). Then there are just people who are just here.

Maybe you should read some of my posts on this article. I can explain very well how there could be male and female dragons.

LOL well if you're two females, you aren't gonna breed no matter how many times you mate.... ;)

Technically there are four females at this point but we aren't looking to breed just mate...Abby (my redguard) her beautiful Sylgja, the housecarl Jordis, and Mjoll has recently come to stay with us although I'm not sure for how long

Hey Raijin remember that skooma-fueled homosexual sex and drugs decapitation party we were talking about in the Defaming Skyrim thread? Looks like it's at her place. ;)

They're all asexual, just like dinosaurs.

How come no one ever recreates dinosaurs with genitals, anyway? Or do their parts retract so internally that... you know what? Nevermind.
Dinos weren't aesexual. I don't know where you got that fact but you're certainly wrong.

Birds don't have visible reproductive organs until it's time to make some babies (this thread is getting weird already). Maybe the same works with dragons.

According to the book There Be Dragons, Dragons do not mate or breed (I completely forgot about the book before I posted earlier) so I guess they are genderless.
It depends on the story or legend. LOL!!! Consider this...Most dragons breed in the early spring. Male dragons keep their testicles tucked inside their body so it can be hard to know if a dragon is a male or a female. When a male dragon spots a female that he wants to mate with he will go to her directly from the side rather than mounting himself on top of her. He may dance around in an effort to try to attract her. When the male dragon is close enough to the female dragon he will then take hold of her by biting her on the neck. He will then be able to hook onto her with his hemipenes. These are like hooks that connect to the female. After this he will ejaculate his sperm through his penis and hemipenes and into the female dragon. She may even save some of the male's sperm in her body to fertilize more eggs in the future without having contact with that particular male again. Keep in mind that this process can be performed in mid-air if the dragons fly. If they are flightless and snakelike they coil together until finished.

After a female dragon is fertilized she will start to make her existing nest more comfortable or she will start making a nest, depending on the species of dragon. She will find a very private spot to lay her eggs to avoid predators. Some female dragons like to dig holes or create a rock nest, inside a cave or deep cavern. The eggs usually hatch within 50-55 days, depending on the type of dragon, because some dragons simply give birth to their babies at this time. When the baby dragons are born they are able to take care of themselves right away. They learn everything they need to know on their own and they typically never meet their mother or father.

Nah, I think dragons mate for life. Meaning, they become mates and the hatchlings learn how to hunt from their father, and how to make nests from their mother. (Just my outlook on the dragons mating.)

Hm...Possibly. I would assume that's how it is. I mean most reptiles don't have external genitalia. However I think male dragons could bring their junk out when ever they want to. For example, if they want to mate with their mate (or their version of a wife).

The dragons of the Elder Scrolls universe don't mate and the OP was asking about the dragons of the Elder Scrolls universe. The book is found in the game and is part of the lore.
