Very true, I'm just of the opinion that honor is ridiculously overrated and over emphasized

Pretty much this - seems to me that the Empire and the Legionnaires fighting for it absolutely possess honor, it's just perhaps conceptualized differently from that of those calling themselves Stormcloaks.

Honor money and earthly possesions? Hmmm, if you were to take a look back in history n see what kind of people valued this sense of 'honor' (WOW!) and how they are viewed now, they look like POS. STORMCLOAKS

Seems to me there's a great deal of honor to be found in doing what appeared best for all of Tamriel and not just one group of people in it.

Dodge of what? If you're trying to tell me the Stormcloaks don't value their earthly "stuff", including their homes and businesses and possessions (as anyone else would), you must think you can sell me a bridge too.

As far as saving/attempting to save Tamriel's people, yeah...I will take that.

It's not a dodge. It's ones view of the CW. Kinda like how you're 100% behind Ulfric despite any flaws the Stormcloacks have. I suppose it's easy to tolerate bigotry when the targets are elves and lizards.

Big difference from what was bein said earlier, comparing the SC's honor of their homeland, religion and prowess in battle to the Imperials sense of honor of their earthlty possesions, then you flipped the script for a sneaky victory. Of course majority if not all value such things as you mentioned, thing is thats not at the Heart of the whole SC cause. You implied thats what the Imperials 'honor' is, Im jus reminding thats NOT the SC's reason to fight.

When did I imply that all the Imperials are fighting for is stuff? You are the one, good sir, who said that's all that motivates them. I am talking about preservation of lives. The Great War was thoroughly devastating and I don't think enough people realize just how so. People of all races fought and died, with Cyrodiil getting some of the absolute worst of it. While we can look back on the WGC now with the benefit of hindsight and try to paint it all sorts of ways, the fact is that smoking ruins and stacks of mangled corpses abounding were great motivators to pursue a cessation of the violence - and not just to save what remained of Cyrodiil. The Empire was then and has been a force comprised of many. The ones fighting the Stormcloaks now are conscious of the lasting threat.

Talk about trying to flip the script. Nice try.

Whoa whoa whoa 100%?????? BOTH Imperials and Stormcloaks are FOS n have their flaws (which has probably been said 5000 times on this forum if not more) this is an undeniable fact. Honestly though, as petty as it sounds, I don't like red, I do like blue. I don't like major powers, I do support the minority/rebellions. As you said before, its a video game, I'll play it for maximum enjoyment

Stromcloaks fight cause Ulfric wanted power. He killed the high king to send a message. The talos worship is just an excuse. Because the empire did not enforce it until Ulfric had his period. And that is not opinion it is fact. Ulfric takes advantage of peoples sentiments and deliver fine speeches.

Another way to look at it. They got the Night Mother's crypt in Bravil. This war was responsible for crippling the Dark Brotherhood! It's serious stuff that is.
