Personally, I don't like it. You can hit the caps without spending a whole perk point and desecrating the corpse of a sentient creature. Working the deads body parts into your gear is just rude.

Since Daedric also fits this category , then the best "polite" armors are Ebony and Glass ?

You can cap hide armor and iron if you want. My point is there's no need to be rude about where you get smithing ingredients.

Then how do you reconcile using leather strips which are required to forge all armor and are made with the hides of sentient creatures?

Sentience is the capacity for complex ant intelligent thought processes. I mostly use leather from wolves and deer. They do not have complex language, societies, or culture of any kind. They are food.

Dragon plate is ugly, but love the look of Dragonscale, and will use that for armor when I can get to it .
