Medea

The Shadow Queen
That sucks. I was looking forward to it too. Isn't it suppose to be some kind of prequel to Aliens?

Yes, kind of. You might like it more than I did so I won't give anything away in case you want to see it, but it's just not what I expected it to be.

I was looking forward to Prometheus as well 'cause I loved Alien... Oh well..

Last one I watched was:
ernakulam-public-library-film-screening-four-rooms-kochi-cochin.jpg

This movie was fluffing hilarious.

It has one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen in any movie:

-WARNING SPOILERS-

So what precedes this scene is a nervous belhop (Tim Roth) being charged with babysitting latino gangsters (Antonio Banderas) kids. He swore to kill him if anything would happen to them and he leaves with his wife for a night on the town. The kids, ofcourse, aren't listening and misbehave with the belhop eagerly trying to fix things and failing hopelessly... He then sees the gangster return to the hotel with his wife and hurries to the hotelroom where the kids are staying to try and save the situation.

I just watched the Hunger Games. It was actually fairly decent, better than what I expected anyhow.

Hotel Transylvania.. It was cute. I enjoy movies more when I watch them at home so I'm looking forward to getting it when it comes out on DVD. Also I only get to see kid movies at the theater, so that might be why I enjoy them more at home. No one likes sitting in a theater full of kids.

Der Untergang (Released as ''Downfall'' in the English speaking world)

One of the most historically accurate and impressive WW2 movies ever made in my opinion. I watch it once every 2 months give or take, and I never get tired of it. Kudos to Bruno Ganz for portraying Hitler as a man with bad traits, rather than a monster.

Monolith

The Progeny of Vikings
Just watched Big Arnie's classic, Total Recall. It's truly a gem of unintentional humor.. gotta love Ahhnold's overacting :D

last movie i watched at the cinema was Taken 2, which was a big disappointment. Before that I saw Bourne Legacy, which was awesome.

The last movie I watched on TV which I haven't seen before was Silent Hill, and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Never played any of the games before, so I'm not sure how it matches up.

Looper. Its a decent movie once you get past the question- wouldn't the mob have something better to do with time travel?

You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.
Just saw Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp last night. Rather appropriate for this time of year. Kinda disappointed with the movie as a whole. Thought it'd be funnier, what with Depp in it and all. It had its moments, and I really liked his nemesis, the jilted lover who is a witch, I believe.

Monolith

The Progeny of Vikings
Just watched Black Death (starring Sean Bean), a medieval thriller. Saw it for the second time. Quite a powerful movie, and very disturbing somehow, even though it's not straight up horror.

Just got back from watching the new James Bond it was pretty good actually. I'm not a massive fan but without putting any spoilers I enjoyed the twists at the end and nice to see all the stupid gadgets have been scrapped. Daniel Craig is a pretty good Bond he was in one of faviourte films Layer Cake and wasn't sure if he would make a good Bond but he's got to be up there for one of the better ones.

I liked Prometheus. Mostly. It had it's stupid moments, but then all mainstream movies do. It' one of the few real Science Fiction movies to come out lately. I for one am extremely tired of all the Vampire/Zombie plops.

I say go see it with an open mind and don't worry about what I or anyone else says about it. Decide for yourself.

Last film I watched was Patriocracy, a documentary about the polarization of the political parties in the US. Mostly stuff I already knew, but may be an eye opener for some.

Just watched this one yesterday, I actually liked it. It wasn't the best movie ever, but it was interesting enough to watch full through. (I have a notoriously hard time watching a movie in one-go without getting up/getting distracted/leaving/watching it the next day etc) I'd give it a 7/7.5.

Summary: An ex navy seal Iraq veteran and a weed hippie are bestfriends and have this weird open love triangle with this girl. The 2 have a lucrative Marijuana distribution business and get an offer from a Mexican Cartel, they refuse it, and the Cartel kidnaps the girl.

Just watched the original Police Academy the other day. A classic that is. Looking forward to watching the rest again.

Monolith

The Progeny of Vikings
Watched The Road for the second time. This movie portrays what is probably the bleakest, most grim dystopian vision of a post-apocalyptic future that I've ever seen on screen. It hits me like a two ton hammer and totally flattens me on an emotional level. I don't usually get sentimental at all when watching movies, but damn..
