Some punk draugr used the disarm shout and made me lose my prized legendary ebony flame enchanted sword. Does the disarm shout just make you drop your weapon? Or make it disappear completely? Because I searched for a real world hour and never found it. I even named it. "Saints Companion".

The draugr was very low on health when he used to shout, so I was able to kill him with my fists. That gave me a bit of closure.

interesting , i usaully use ''mark for death'' for those draugrs .

Usually you can find it. Helps if you have Night-Eye. But yeah, I've lost weapons before in the same fashion, I usually end up kicking it somewhere and then never recovering it.

I was wondering why I kept losing my weapons in the very same manner. I switched to third person and allowed the draugr to shout at me till it happened again, and realised it was a clipping glitch. The weapons were falling through the floor, pretty much making it impossible to recover them :/

I'm not saying this is your problem, but it's something to consider.

Carry more weapons, if someone told my skyrim character to put his weapons on the floor, they'd be standing there for 20 minutes.

I've had this happen as well. I can usually find the weapon again, not always.

I had backups. But me and that sword had grown some kind of attachment.

I know the feeling when losing a weapon you're attached to

Except mine was a person because I'm a Necromancer

Oh he was a lovely zombie then he turned on me suddenly when we traveled to the house so I could dump him in the basement for storage, I hit him with a lightning spell and he turned to ash before I realised my error.

I learned in Oblivion to always have a backup weapon. It isn't as necessary to have it in Skyrim, but it's helped me in situations like this.

If you can't find it, try eating more carrots.

And warriors with swords and axes poke fun at us mages, and then have the audacity to call us weak for using magic as a source of our weapon. Had you used your mind the disarmed shout would've been meaningless
