For the 100th time I've completed the Companions saga.

After you kill Kodlak beast spirit he thanks you for giving him the gift of freedom, but grieves over the other Harbingers that still remains trapped by Hircine.

Perhaps with the next expansion that the theirs going to be a rescue mission to help save the other Harbingers from the wrath of Hircine? Where you can actually go 1 on 1 battle with the Daedric prince himself.. of course if your character worships Hircine you are given the option to help him instead of fighting with him. I haven't thought this through, but it can start out by the companions getting a tip that their was a disturbance in the tomb of Ysgramor where you are ask to investigate.

I would love an expansion of the companions. They seem to be the shallowest questline ever.

Step 1: Join.

Step 2: Find shard of axe.

Step 3: Discover they are werewolves

Step 4: Become one

Step 5: Guy dies, go on revenge killing spree

Step 6: Leader dies as result of your actions

Step 7: Avenge leader.

Very very basic.

I would love to see an expansion for all factions.

The Companions, the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild and perhaps the College.

And atleast the ability to destroy the Thieves Guild.

I'd love to see any and all storytelling elements expanded upon.
The deeper they make it, the more it'll feel like a living world.

I would also love a companions expansion... come to think of it I would love to have and expansion for all the guilds. I mean they were really cool, but as a whole kinda short. And thinking back on it, all the guilds sorta had cliffhangers... STOP FALLING DARN IT!!!!!! But I don't know how that would be possible unless they come as a part of another expansion... But I like your idea about the companions.

Sounds very interesting, however I see one problem. Not everyone joins the companions when they have Skyrim. For instance, one might play as a strict pure mage, and have no contract what so ever with the Companions. So, there meeting with Kodlak never happened.

I don't think some people would like a new dlc forcing there character to become a member of the companions. While I support the idea, (and think it's a pretty good one) many would also oppose it.

This, although the thieve's guild's involvement in the crown, main, and dark brotherhood quests would make eliminating them tricky.

I have to disagree. A very simple fix would just be to replace the NPCs that are involved. Instead of going to Vex, you'd go to some other person. For finding Esbern it be as simple as investigating the Ragged Flagon for some note.

That's what I define as "tricky". I'm not saying it shouldn't be done, just that it will be potentially gamebreaking for people in certain stages of the mentioned quests. Tldr: Bethesda must do this flawlessly if they decide to.
