Attention Hearthfire players!

I purchased the Lakeside Manor plot, but I cannot find my housecarl anywhere! Rayya is not hanging out at the house, or at the Jarl's longhouse. After hours of searching for her I had to bring another follower to be my steward. Anyone else have this problem?

You can adopt any child as long as you add them to the 'BYOHRelationshipAdoptableFaction'

Aretino can become your child.

Bethesda needs to allow Aretino to be adopted legitimately though.

...How do you know this information? HF isn't even out for the PC.
Unless you did that thing that people did with DG to post the console codes online.

Google 'Hearthfire Converted' and you will get my topic on a different site.

Same thing if you google 'Dawnguard Converted'

I still need to work on a few things, but it isn't to be played (I removed the crafting houses interface, but that might be the cause of the houses resetting now that I think of it), and I had to swap the models with existing models in Skyrim (I know I used logs for a table) as the 360 and PC use different forms for their .nifs and 360 uses .ddx instead of .dds, so had to find replacements for those as well.

This is mostly so people on the 360 can mod their save with Hearthfire content and not worry about the game crashing on the PC.

yes, a stage appears by the lake in falkreath. once a month there is a music festival entitled 'the falkreath music festival" with tons of young people throwing themselves at the stage. 3 days only, tons of acts. hell, a comedy arena as well. lets not forget the food stalls.

i can already picture it... its... its beautiful

Has anyone had Draugr invade their house? I read one Skyrim Wiki that they could, but have yet to find anyone who's encountered that. Also, people apparently can kidnap your kids.

I haven't heard from anyone who's had that, either.

It`s possible to take Dragr into your home via Conjuration magic or staff and their bodies may respawn there but i don`t think they invade on their own. They might also follow you inside if you`re in combat with them at the time since I have seen enemies that will do that. I doubt these reports relate to the typical game.
It`s my belief that since they are flagged as essential , children are not included on the random lists of Rescue quest victims. My wife has been kidnapped a number of times however

there is a scripted kidnapping of a child(not yours) in a mini-quest involving the Temple of Dibella in Markarth but that`s the only one I know of

Buying land in Dawnstar from the Jarl - It was not that easy for me to locate the place where your land (for building your house) was located after buying land from the Jarl in Dawnstar. After a LOT of searching and videos I came across an actual MAP that shows the exact location (which is hidden until you find it). It also shows all nearby locations by name south of Dawnstar. Check it out if you are interested in getting the land in Dawnstar (http://www.virtualsecrets.com/misc_imgs/skyim-hearthfire-dawnstar-land-house-location.jpg). I'm still looking for any other maps like this one for the other two locations.

In order to adopt from the orphanage, you have to complete the Innocence Lost quest. After you kill Grelod, return to Aventis and get your payment. The courier will start handing out leaflets then and you can acquire the quest to adopt. Constance won't calm down until you do this.
