The one cube to rule them all.
I want this one to be different somehow. Anyone got any ideas for a playstyle, specific path, whatever to make it unique? I'm also considering pulling a journal, but I'm not a hardcore player at all.

Try practicing one specific school of magic. It can make the game really interesting. Also, introduce a roleplay element. Give your character a simple backstory and the like. I know someone with a great guide on how to help with that. I'll link it in a second.

I already do the RP thing. Focusing on one school of magic seems nice. Conjuration mage, awayyyy!

It is quite interesting. Creating a highly specific playstyle, like using my Selia class or Lucas' Jester class, can also be fun.

how about just rping as a farmer? xD no special skills just be like a regular townsfolk. ooo with hearthfire that should make it totally do-able. be farmer, buy land, build a house, have a wife & kids. forget the worries of the world.

the dragon that refuses to use his powers!

Sucks, doesn't it? I have Xbox, but I know how you feel. Think of it this way: Every other add-on will be able to come out for all three at the same time now that Bethesda has fulfilled the terms of their contract!

Going at it with an untempered iron dagger. xD

i am a redguard hunter who came from hammerfell with his dog vigilance. his primary weapon is the bow. his secondary is a dagger. he also uses illusion to try and avoid combat. he joined the thieves guild and dark brotherhood as he was out of money and his hunting wasn't going to well. to help him kill he views his targets as prey, and he is hunting them. however he is still a good man.

unfortunately his guilt takes him over and he develops multiple personality disorder. every other month he turns evil, and dons his nightingale armour along with shadowmere, he moves into Hjerim and uses the secret room as his shrine to sithis, where he performs sacrifices. at the end of the month he wakes up as a different man.

ok, so thats my story, all of his evil stuff stays in hjerim. he has a good and evil version of his equipment. daedric bow for evil, glass bow for good. blade of woe for evil, glass dagger for good.

my only problem is the armour. he's a light armoured character but he doesn't wear armour that you can smith because it looks too, armour like. stuff like thieves guild armour, DB armour and nightingale armour is more his thing, but i can't think of a good version of his nightingale armour that isn't glass or elven. could you help me out?

I LOVE the idea of the multiple personality! I guess you are using the DB armour for "evil"; but what are you using for "good" armour?
thats what i need help with. i don't use DB armour for evil most of the time, although it is in my evil home. my nightingale armour is what i use most. is it possible to get mage robes without an enchantment? so that i can enchant them myself? maybe leather armour, my character is a hunter so it has to work with that.

Yes, it is possible to get them without enchantments. Go to Solitude, the shop called Radiant Raiment, or something close to that. They sell clothes like mage hood and alik'r hoods without enchants.

cool, actually the alik'r armour might work really well

If you're heartset on Light, Linwe's set doesn't look so "Evil", and has some pretty damned fine enchantments. I usually wear the Nightingale boots with it, though.

Find a large ruin far off & claim it. Stay there fighting & don't let anything near. Or if you get powerful enough, claim a town. Fight endlessly for it.

I always wanted to try the holy ranger build, which is taking the ranger combat style, and adding some turn/destroy the undead power. Basically taking two class atchetypes, whose combat styles would probably never work well together, and somehow making them work would make your unique.
