Better Weapon?

What does the triangle at the end of the name of a weapon or armor indicate?
Also is there any way to force your follower to use a particular weapon ?
Is there any indicator that shows what items the follower has equipped?

- Whats you can do is when you get a follower, take the weapon he/she has and replace it with what you want them to use (bow, two-handed, one-handed weapon). If the follower has two weapons in their inventory, I believe it's random what they will choose. So if you want them to use one specific weapon, make sure thats the only weapon in their inventory.

I think it means it has the best stats ( probably only looking at the physical dmg/armor rating and not the magical bonuses ). I'm not sure so take that with a grain of salt.

To force the follower to use a particular weapon you have to give them only the weapon you want them to use. If you give them more they may switch for some reason. Also sometimes my follower switches to bow even though I never gave her one.

The indicator for what the follower has equipped is the same as the one in your inventory.
