The real threat is Zahkriisos. He can and will light you up. :beermug:
And don't forget, Z is dead sexy.

That said, you probably shouldn't ask where Z keeps the staff.

He's the boss in the Meridia's temple quest "Break of Dawn"

Ebony Warrior.... even with my most powerful weapon it took 3 hits to kill him. (my ultimate weapon was a Shiv that done 1000 damage)
Try it with a wooden sword. Took a while

:D

Grelod the Kind.

Seriously though,

Now that I know what to expect, he's not difficult anymore, but I was surprised at how many times I had to reload to take on Hamlan in the basement of Honningbrew Meadery several times.

I'm going to make it a point to use a frenzy spell on him with all his skeevers around him on this playthrough, man that'll be thrilling to watch his rodent minions be the death of him.

THis one time I tried taking on Krev the Skinner at level 15 on Master Difficulty, that was impossible. One of the few times I had to take the long ways back out of a dungeon to train my character up before I could take on the boss at the end.

I think with most bosses in this game, the difficulty is mostly dependent on, besides your difficulty setting, what level you engage the boss at, and what you've invested your perk points in. Some perk points I refuse to invest in because they make otherwise very difficult bosses, too easy, like the Impact Perk for Destruction. On this legendary difficulty, I just spam sword swings until the enemy goes down.

My pleasure. It's actually a pretty decent challenge depending upon your character's level and skills

You'll randomly come across the beacon in a chest somewhere and that triggers the quest to begin. Meridia tells you to return it to her.

How do you backstab a Dragon?
Malkoran - absolutely. Don't know why, he's not even that strong. It's probably all the shades coming at you and his spamming ice storms at you. Plus I would guess you're probably doing it at a lower level than say, Harkon or Miraak or Alduin so it's bound to be harder.

all bosses are relative difficult at legendary without any smithing or enchanting. My top 3 alduin ,the snow giant from dlc and that dragon priest from dlc. I would put ebony warrior on the list, he is hard to beat, but he is also fun. Facing him is a thrill. While the other 3 feels more like a tedious, rage inducing chore.

It's got to go to the ebony warrior I've only fought him once but it to about 2 hours to finally be able to beat him.

It helped alot when I lowered the difficulty abit.

Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
I was destroyed several timese when I attempted to defeat General Falx Carius at about level 15. He would essentially one-shot me.

Argonianale7

Sheratopia
Naaslarum
Voslaarum (Two high level dragons in an open area with little cover but a word wall.)

Nahkriin. (Considering Skuldafn is one of the hardest dungeons in the game, fighting a dragon priest on legendary, that can use all the magic destruction elements and get help from other Draugr, I found my self in a lot more trouble than I did with the Ebony Warrior, somehow.)

A Brute among Beasts
Lurker Sentinel on LVL 8 trip to Solstheim. Like a Dragon, but no breathers while it flies.

I had no idea Malkoran was such a problem. Just read up about him beforehand & used a ward on the way in.

Soul Cairn Dragon (name escapes me). That drain vitality really did a number on me for some reason, & when he died I got no Dragon soul. Deciding to take my rage out on some random Boneman, I ran outside...

Did anyone else try to kill Odaviing on an earlier playthrough? Took me over an hour to figure that out (didnt die in the process, so you can imagine my impatience) but I got a manic laugh out of it in the end.

But my greatest foe would have to be Ahzidal. As a Vampire Lord.
In VL form.
