Welcome to the Hall of the Dead. Here you can post the final stats and history of your characters that have fallen forever.

As acting Priest of Arkay, I will update this page based on posts placed listing your dead character's accomplishments. I ask that they at least be level 5 if you wish to post to prevent clogging up thread. I would also ask that your characters be played on at least adept, if not master or legendary.

Special notes will be made for characters who complete entire questlines as well.

The Fallen Heroes:

● J'Kaasha - Khajiiti Nightingale; Master Thief and Adept Assassin - Level 47 (1) (AS88)

● Jovar Trolls-Blood - Nord Werewolf; Member of the Circle - Level 7 (Dradin)

The Hall of Stories: (Legendary Heroes)

(1) - J'Kaasha - A Master Thief who is mentioned only in hushed whispers among the cutthroats of the night. He was last seen braving a Dwemer ruin. May his soul protect Nightingale for eternity.

J'Kaasha - a level 47 Khajiit Nightingale.

He was wanted in all nine holds, and was level 100 in archery and sneak. He was the Guildmaster of the Riften Thieves Guild, and a fringe member of the Dark Brotherhood. He wore Nightingale Armour and the Guildmaster's Hood, and used the Nightingale Bow to snipe his unseeing enemies through the darkness that Nocturnal shrouded him in.

He died in a Dwarven ruin when his tail got caught in a Dwemer contraption and he was pulled to his death.

(In reality I got sick of seeing his tail poking through his cape, so deleted him, and never had a Khajiit (or Argonian) Nightingale since. His last save was in a Dwemer ruin.)

As soon as I figure out a decent reward, you get one. You also get a mention in the hall of stories, for Guildmasters and Dovahkiin only.

I have a sneak archer that's level 21, I started on expert, my first DiD character although... I haven't played her in weeks though because it's so stressful

Seriously though, I flip out at every random bump in the night, every stray voice in a cave. It's nerve-wracking to say the least. I guess I'm a scaredy-cat (no seriously, she's a Khajiit).

Lollygagging Milk Drinker (according to guards)
Akosha- a level 49 female High Elf all rounded necromage vampire.

Main Skills: Sneak (83), Conjuration (100), Alteration (100), Destruction (72), Illusion (98), Restoration (85), Enchanting (100), Speech (63).
Minor Skills: Lockipicking and pick pocketing.

She was the Listener of the Dark Brotherood, head vampire in Dawnguard, Guildmaster of Thieves Guild, Archmage of Winterhold. She owned a couple properties, including two from Hearthfire and the house in Whiterun and Riften. She was definitely a sweet talker and she dressed in Tavern clothes, so all the boys loved her and all the women envied her. She never took a side in the war because she didn't care. She did love toying with the Daedra however and did most of their quests.

How she died: Well, really, I made up a bunch of bullplops in my mind. She is a vampire, so I didn't quite kill her off. Instead, I made up a story. As Akosha got powerful and became head of many factions, the stress and power started getting to her. She was evil and had killed countless people, committing cannibalism (Namira's Ring) and indeed drinking their blood. She did some things so awful that Serana left her side and refused to ever speak to her again. Akosha did love Serana secretly, so was heartbroken. Even the Thieves Guild refused to follow her as did the College of Winterhold because of how much killing she was comitting, plus Brynolf walked in on her while she was feeding on one of the guild members. As everyone left her side, she started committing more evil acts in order to forget this, and Sheogorath was slowly driving her insane. She started slaughtering whole towns and attacking children. Finally, the Dark Brotherhood realized that while she was Listener, she was becoming more of a threat and risking exposure of their sanctuary. Nazir, Babette, and the two DB initiates tracked down Akosha. They restrained her (Babette used one of her powerful paralysis potions on her in order to do this). They brought her to the DB Sanctuary, where they had dug further into the Sanctuary to make another seperate chamber. They put Akosha in there to rot, and sealed her within the chamber. Nazir's hope is that as she starves and becomes immobile, she will forget the taste of power and she will have time to come to terms with her mistakes. Babette, in 100 years, will reopen the sealed chamber in hopes to restart.

So since I won't be alive in 100 years, this works out. Quite the bullplops story, eh? :p

You are in the same boat as AS88. I got you updated and your character is in the original post. Prize is pending.

If you want her immortalized, I need more details.

She's not dead yet ;)

When I get the balls to play her again, and when she eventually falls, I'll be sure to divulge all of the gorey details.

Well Jovar Trolls-Blood has fallen at the hands of his fellow companions.

He lost his ability to control the transformation into a werebeast and ended up murdering countless citizens of the outer farms. He then managed to regain enough willpower to rampage through the streets into Jorvaskar itself, nobly falling at the blade of his love, Aela. His body is laid to rest here in the Hall of the Dead, but fails to make it into a worthy place of story.

(I encountered a game breaking bug that virtually entailed a permanent beast form. Even after the transformation was over I still wore the cloak of a wolf and couldn't interact with anything. I could only use my Warhammer or spells because they were hotkeyed.)

Mac (short for MacIver which is Scottish and means Son of an Archer).
• Imperial
• Level 78
• Focused on Achery, Sneak, and one handed (usually daggers)\
• Favorite spells - Bound Bow
• Favorite Weapon - Nordic Bow, Deadric Bow, Dragon Bow, Zephyr, Mehrunes Dagger, Blade of Woe
• Armor - Penitus Oculatus light armor, or the dawnguard heavy armor helmet and Dawnguard light armor (red no sleeves), green clothes (like Faendal) or vampire robes.
• The Listener - Had just recruited more people to join the guild
• He was also in the process of restoring the Thieves Guild and only had one more radiant job to do to finish it.
• He had sided with the Legion and had killed Ulfric.
• Harbinger of the Companions.
• Defeated Harkon and Miirak.
• Owned all the vanilla house except for the one in Riften. Full built 2 houses from Hearthfire and had built the outside of the 3rd and was working on the interior.
• Just joined the College of Winterhold.
• Married to Ysolda and had adopted Lucia and Samuel

Mac started missing his family more and more. Often not seeing them for days on end. After the battle with Miirak was over and he was victorious he decided that he was done with his adventures for a while. So he headed home to spend some much needed time with the family. He decided that on his off time he would do more smithing and alchemy work to bring in some extra income though he was rich beyond measure having over 500,000 gold stored away in a safe with over 40 of each flawless and regular gems, along with over 50 gold and silver ingots, and over 400 gold ore (thanks transmute spell).

One day he had noticed the dust that had gathered on the enchanting table and he realized he had not dabbled much with it. Deciding he wanted some new apparel he went to work. Something was either wrong with the soul gem, table, spell, or a mixture. Boom! A small concentrated explosion that knocked him backward into the bookshelf across the room. He awoke later, not knowing how long he had been out, and saw Ysolda changing the dressing on his wounds. The kids were in the floor playing, he thought about all he had missed. He had contemplated retiring from the adventure game and settling down. he spent the rest of the evening watching his family, contemplating life and it's meaning. For the first time he was truly happy. The explosion for the enchanting accident coupled with the wear and tear on his body from the numerous battles, the scars from the numerous arrows and cuts, the burns and discoloration from the spells that hit his body all took it's toll. Later that night he passed away peacefully in his sleep, with Ysolda in his arms.

That's how I like to picture it. Truth is a couple of quests had messed up. I had quest items that I couldn't drop because of those mess ups. Most of the merchants were dead due to dragons or vampires, except Belathor which got killed when he attacked me during the first transformation into the werewolf. My OCD kicked in and I couldn't get over the fact of having stuff uncompleted. So he was deleted. I probably should have retired him, but this was more sad and interesting.

Ok, because this seems so unlikely I think I need a picture. Level 78 without dying once seems nigh impossible. Especially because you completed every questline.

As much as I hate coming off as a tool, I don't want to be the guy who blindly trusts anyone. I had a hard enough time believing level 47 and level 49. 78 is a bit too farfetched for me to be taking it without any sort of evidence.

I have come to believe that some people are unsure of what Dead is Dead, or DiD is.

Dead is Dead is in which you only have one life. A single life. No reloads. No respawns. If you get caught in a fight and that bandit runs you from behind, you can't continue playing. The Hero has died.

I can't blame anyone for lack of clarification on my part. I'm sorry and thus I needed to make such clarification.

Kind of hard to get pictures from an xbox, especially since he has been gone for a couple months now. For what it is worth, I didn't finish a lot of quests. Thieves guild never fully restored, no college of winterhold, more missions left for the dark brotherhood. I didn't finish the whole blade quests. I hadn't taken the time to do a lot of the smaller quests. I had one more piece of the atherium shard to get. And much more.

It isn't hard to keep from dying. Good armor high sneak, good bow and arrows, potions. Not to mention this was my last character on novice before I up'ed the difficulty. Novice with the bound bow is 9/10 a 1 shot kill.

I will say this though. I thought you were just talking about characters you no longer played with. If so then i apologize. I fell off a couple mountains...ok...more than a couple. And a waterfall

Unfortunately the post said Adept or Above Dropping it below adept gives yourself an inherent advantage. I cannot, and it saddens me to say this, admit Mac into the Hall of the Dead.

Oh plops, that is my bad. I did not realize that. My character Akosha I'm sure had died a few times... apologies!

Especially since she started out on Expert in the beginning and was a mage, she was quite squishy.

I was as really wondering that.

Not your fault, I made a faulty assumption that everyone knew what Dead is Dead was. Still impressed however.

Hey! I've made it to level 78 without dying... of course I was playing on Novice at the time and by level 10 I could one-shot a Giant, but, still... :)

If it makes you feel better I am on legendary now. Dark Elf battlemage. Level 24 and haven't died yet. Had a couple close calls, mostly with giants. Thankfully I had a follower to distract while I ate all my food, and healing.

This thread makes me wanna play my first DiD characer. Too bad I've been completely burned-out and bored with Skyrim for the last two months now and I don't want to force myself to play.

I got bored also. Turned to COD Ghosts for a while, then went to GTA V and played online with my brother. He quit playing GTA V and went to playing Ghost after I got burnt out with it. So it was back to Skyrim as lately I have had a hard time finding games that I like, which oddly enough has been the legos games.

Skyrim is the only ES game i have played, and the first RPG I think I have played. So the first couple of times I just made a character and went with it. After I got burnt with the others and went back to Skyrim I decided to take a more role playing approach. I have been playing so much lately that I am starting to get that burnt out feeling again. Once we get satellite hooked up i will cut down on how much I play, as playing or watching dvds is all we have been able to do since we have moved. No internet or tv.
