DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
This theme is quite bigg and you can write loads of different texts. But i am here to share with you type of roll play that i think still dosn't exists yet.
I call it: "Spartan". And i hope it intersts you. Recc. race: Breton (cuz of skinn colour), or Nord (cuz of a battlecry) type: spellsword (shield-block, sword, and mage armour to be cast before battle,... cuz spartans were hardy, strong, and known as the toughest warriors at that time). lvling: 3x hp, 1x stamina 1x magica, aletration, 1-handed, block, i'll explain for armour later. Recc. amulet: gauldur amulet (ring: bonus hp)
about the armour,... helmet in skyrim that looks most like spartans helmet is steel imperial helmet. rest pieces of armour... mostly leave empty. spartans didnt have any clothes... just helm and boots. So, yes, you will walking trough cityes naked. About boots, they were wearing sandals, soo originial Skyrim has no sandals, but if some DLC has,... take em on. If DLC doesnt has those,.. then find orange or brown like boots.
I think that magica should not be taken so often as i said, but the better mage armour spells u can cast, the better. When comes to speech, you have no need to lvl it up just,... when speaking to some1 ALLWAYS use intimidation (idk if i wrote this correctly). When you act, act to the end ;)
Perks of 1-handed: 5 armsman, 3 bladesman, fighting stance, critical charge, savage strike, paralizing strike. All block perks. Armour.. hmmm heavy armour just to make that helmet more eifficent, so; if possible 5 jaggernaut. Aletration, novice, aprentice, 3x spell resist, adept, expert master, (once you get master mage ermour, you'll be allmost invurble,... lol my spelling)
About shiled.... idk what would be perfect replica, but banded is only1 bigg and rounded (pitty it has to many details) Oh yisgramor shield would do even better.
Th'um: dismay all 3 words cuz spartans usualy scare ppl off xd, and elemental fury.

So that would be my roll playing character, i never actualy played it tough, but i think that it can be fun... citizens would comment your style quite often. If you have any interesting idea please share with me. Hope you like it :)

I'm not going to tell you how to outfit your character. However, Spartans did wear armor. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spartan_army

Your build sounds more like a gladiator of sorts.

FYI: It's 'role' play not 'roll' play. As in, you are playing a role.

As for armour, the skirt" version of fur armour may work. Or even hide armour.

I know in 300 they're just greased up men in tight pants, but they do wear light, tight-fitting armour in other historical sources and references.

It's a big hammer.

"OTHER" historical sources? Hehehe... You mean actual historical sources. 300 was a great comic by Frank Miller and I enjoyed the movie. I never saw the sequel.

Spartans wore what the typical hoplite infantry of the time wore. Same as the warriors from Athens or Corinth. It was the training, lifestyle, and mindset that set them apart. They typically wore bronze chest armor, carried a shield (the name hoplite is derived from that), and used a spear and shield. There are no spears in the game, so I imagine a sword would be fine. I would probably wear full Imperial armor, preferably Penitus Oculatus armor because it's awesome, have a shield in one hand and a sword in the other. I would most likely go with Imperial for race. Nord, I think, would be acceptable, too.

You would primarily go sword and shield. I don't know how alteration really fits in. The Ancient Greeks had seers and sooth-sayers and oracles and healers... but the soldiers weren't really part of all that. You could say that your character was also a farmer and so you're good at alchemy or something. Hoplites, even in Sparta, usually had second jobs. Spartans were warriors first, then farmers second. In Athens, you were a farmer and then a soldier. Like I said before, mindset was a big thing that set them apart.

Unless you are actively basing the build off of Spartans from the movie 300. Then running around naked is appropriate. o_O At the very least, it will make the game a lot harder.

Yes, i do copy spartans from 300 :p Cuz i'm not historicly oriented. Aletration is there to make you tougher, and make game easyer, just like spartans realy were tough (that much even i can say). When it comes to armour, the bronze armour you mentioned, better copy is probably taliuses armour :p, yes it does looks like gold xd but at least not like earth, like oculatus. I still prefer steel imperial helmet cuz of the shape, unless ofc they werent wearing helmets that look like that D:
P.S. Excuse me for my spelling, hope you didn't have hard time reading this.
