Last night I was near Koeglin, killing pirate slavers (marveling as always at how easy it is to complete 3-4 quests by clearing a single combat area, but I digress). I head into the pirate ship to slay the captain and find him standing next to a large, male NPC wearing a steel helm with downturned horns. This I don't recall the NPC's name but it was a normal first and surname, not a title.

I rained Sun Fire down upon the captain, causing both he and his buddy to charge me. I swear to Julianos, homeboy in the horns opened his mouth and breathed fire on me! I was fully stunned for a few seconds. I'm going to go back next time I play and see if I can grab a screenshot.

I couldn't find a single mention of a fire-breathing NPC in ESO anywhere on the 'net. Did I just encounter a Dragonborn, living on the dl as a slaver? Maybe I'm crazy, or suffering from Skyrim withdrawals.

Well, there goes that fantasy then. Thanks for the info. I guess that's what get for not digging deeper into the class abilities :)

Not long after creating this thread last summer I leveled a Dragonknight and found the Inhale skill to be...meh. Much more fun is using 5/5 Ashen Grip pieces on my Nightblade's dual wield bar. Ashen Grip procs much more frequently than the stats would lead you to expect, giving firebreath on any class without having to take a skill slot, and it's got good stam build perks.

The kit also procs in werewolf form, so I'm a firebreathing, Khajiit werewolf. What's not to love about that?
