I recently got a MacBook that's a bit old, but should still do the job. At the end of the month, I'm gonna try this trick I found to transfer a console save game to the computer.
So my question is, does anyone have advice for someone switching over in the middle of a play through? Controls, command box code, ideal mods? Any bit of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just make sure you change the file extension on the game save to .ess and toss the game save in your Skyrim save folder.

I used Horizon, a program that extracts and installs files. As for controls, I just rig a Xbox or Sony controller via USB.

As for mods, check out Nexus mods for the best mods for Skyrim.

Make sure you have a backup just in case you screw up.

Otherwise, there should'nt be much of a difference except the graphics and gameplay.
