What we do in life, echoes in the eternity !
After too many times playing Skyrim, I decided to give it a shot to the Dark Brotherhood, just with the intention to get Shadowmere and the Firiniel’s bow. I already got Shadowmere and the bow and now, I want to kill Cicero and after that, I want to go back to the Brotherhood headquarter and kill everybody else; question is : if I do so, would I still keep Shadowmere ?
Other question is : after I kill every single one of them, can I still join the Legionnaries ?

Thanks for the help !

Kill Cicero then head back to headquarters u'll see something amazing and btw I had an assassin done with Dark Brotherhood who could join the Imperial army anyway no problems

It's been a while since I've done the whole Dark Brotherhood quest, but I do remember Shadowmere staying with me after I killed Cicero.
I'm sure he'll still be around even if you decide to take out the rest of the Brotherhood, if you're referring to the Dawnstar Sanctuary members.

Shadowmere certainly didn't shed any tears after you buried the Blade of Woe in his owner's black little heart, now did he? ;)

When in doubt, follow the fox.

Wow, I didn't know you could do that. I thought they all became essential after you joined up.

Yeah Skyrim made sure that you could access every playable faction.

Shadowmere is in fact only loyal to you after He/She is given to you.

You are Shadowmere's owner. EDIT: Or did you mean you stabbed yourself in the heart?

Dawnstar Sanctuary only has the skeletal guardians at this point in the questline anyway. :p

I didn't want to give away any spoilers, but you still get to keep Shadowmere after you kill Astrid, even though she's his previous owner.

Spoiler Alert!!! BOOO

And duh. She gave it to you. Why would a horse of Sithis care? :p Alls Void that goes to the Void.
At first you borrow, then you can keep. :p

Dark Brotherhood members are supposed to be able to kill without remorse, yes? I can see why Shadowmere is like that then. She (i think it's a she) is pretty good at climbing though. I was climbing down a mountain near Solitude today and she was standing in mid air, basically. It was like she had been nailed to the mountain.

Shadowmere is definitely great at climbing and with more health can handle the falls better too. Definitely the best choice for getting up those pesky mountains.
