Is there a way to permanently fix the annoying mannequin glitch (where they disappear once you put armor on them)? I'm on PS3 so I can't use console commands. Someone suggested putting a necklace on the dummy and taking it off, which did make the armor appear, but once I left my house and came back it was invisible again.

Not a life-or-death problem, just annoying as hell. :p Any suggestions?

I thought the mannequin issues got patched? Then again, I've not used any in a while. Are you using the latest patch?

No, I don't have high speed internet access at home. I'm hoping to get the chance to update soon (by mooching off my brother's internet). Didn't know that was covered in a patch. Thanks!

Well, I'm not entirely sure if it did get patched or not. I can't really remember. Maybe someone can confirm this or at least offer you help with your current issue. Wished I could but I've not even bothered with houses/mannequins all that much. Not for a few months anyway.

What house are you talking about? Some have ongoing glitches while others have been fixed.

I'm pretty sure most, if not all housing glitches have been patched. I haven't had a single problem since 1.5.

I can't put headgear on the mannequin in the Hjerim house. They are invisible. (PS3)

LOL! No, they aren't supposed to. I've never actually seen mine moving, they are just in the wrong place, but I've seen other people posting about their 'walking' mannequins. That is probably the creepiest glitch in the game.

Yeah scared the crap out of me when I went to put something on the mannequin and it turned and faced me, I ran out of Markarth squealing and never returned, there's only so much that my Big mean two handed battleaxe wielding, covered in battle scars orc can handle :sadface:

My house in Riften still has the walking mannequin issue. I put some low level armor on them to see if it worked. Haven't noticed the issue since then.

In regards to the OP, some people say putting armor on them and then taking it back, exit cell, and enter the house and placing the armor back fixed it for them.

I'm the OP. Tried that (and several other fizes) but it only worked for a short time. However, I haven't got the patches so maybe that will fix the problem permanently.

In my Honeyside Home my mannequin's just float around from onside of the room to another.
