I'm playing Brenton, like I did in Oblivion. Though the magic resistance benefits aren't as strong in Skyrim as they used to be, it's still a nice bonus, I think.
I'm about to start another character that is primarily a conjurer. I'm thinking High Elf for the boost in magika. Any input?

I played a Redguard in Oblivion that was a master in Hand-to-hand, Heavy Armor, and Acrobatics. That was a riot. Nothing satisfies like jumping across the surface of lava to punch a Daedra in the face! >

Breton/Orc/High Elf has been my top 3 from the past games in the series.
I played all 3 races in skyrim and for longevity I play breton atm, Reguards are good despite the nerf on their racial, High Racial is Ludicrous with destruction as it reminds me of Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z getting heated up and barraging somebody. Orc's racial is rediculously awesome in Skyrim due to DOUBLE DMG and HALF DMG taken, just pure amazing. In Dungeons and Dragons (Miniatures not Online) I always play Orcs, Dwarves, Humans and sometimes exotic races like half-ogre half-troll n such.

To be honest I played Nord for awhile in Oblivion as I was new to the series before being exposed to glorious Morrowind and such, then I learned to love Races like Orc, Breton, High Elf.

I play as an Imperial in Oblivion, but a Nord in Morrowind (new at the old game and not finished)...playing as a female Nord is better because it is something new. Playing as male gets too old.
