PS3 How do I get rid of my wife?

Okay I will put this bluntly, I want to get rid of my wife! The game however is preventing me from doing so. Ysolda just will not die. I did some homework online and a lot of my research told me to do ALL of the quests shes involved in. So I did the 2 or so quests that made her "essential" and still no luck. I remember a few months back I was dicking around and killed her for plopss and gigs without a hitch... but now its not letting me. Any advice/ideas? Thanks!!

Yes. I did the sanguine rose and even a misc. quest that involved collection the sap from a tree. I've heard rumors that since patch 1.5 she is essential regardless of quest completion. Just looking for confirmation

There is a divorce mod you can download and use. it resets everything and its just like you where never married, i have used it many times and it works great. The mod is of coarse over at Nexus, i dont have a link for it right now.
