I'm sure a lot of you have seen these spam advertisements for whatever diet product they're trying to sell. I'm sure many of you are just as frustrated as I am to see it. I've spoken to Rayven and really all we can do is to report these spammers, so we should all work together to keep these spammers out. When you see a thread like that, don't reply, just report it and Rayven will take care of it. Let's all work together to keep the forum clean.

On a more serious note, I tend to ignore threads like that that crop up. I will try to be more active in their destruction from now on.

I report the strange perverted Skyrim image bomber person that randomly shows up in threads with inappropriate weirdness. I wonder if they actually modded their Skyrim to take those pics.

I tell myself I have to scroll through their post to get to the report button, but it's so bizarre... It's like stopping to look at a car wreck because you want to see the damage, but then you see the damage and you're like, "OMG!!! WHY DID I WANT TO SE THAT?! ARG?!"

I haven't seen much other spam on the forums, to be honest. I guess because people are diligent with reporting it or I can passively dismiss them or something.

No you are not the only one; I have seen other forums image bombed with weird perverted stuff including that thing with boobs and a penis. I reported them when I saw them.

As for the other spam, as a forum owner myself it's a constant battle against the spambots as they can get around CAPTCHA systems. I use a question and answer system which gets changed every few weeks.

Those spam messages with links are for Search Engine Optimization practices that outsourced Online Marketing Firms from the Philippines, India and Pakistan. Such practices have been deemed obsolete by Google's Algorithm so I am wondering on why they bother?

In a sidenote for a suggestion, I recommend the admin and mods ban immediately their IP addresses. It will help curtail spam to zero if frequented as a policy. It saved our fashion forum.

So yes, I am with everyone on being vigilant and reporting spam threads. We're gonna be like the Vigilants of Stendarr dedicated on eradicating spammer bots.
