Who wants spears back

I was disappointed that spears didn't make it

I was thinking about it, and you would expect the Imperial Soldiers to have them at least.. or a maybe a Halberd type of weapon.

Where'd they go?

Well, I was never a fan of her music, but if she's still good looking AND I still have a working mute button on my TV, I'm all for it.

Yea, I miss spears, you would think that a nordic people would have spears, but Noooooooooooooooooo. I want mah spears.

I never knew there were spears but I'd love to chuck a massive poisoned spear at a giant and watch him go down.

So I go to my first store in Morrowind and low and behold! They stock spears and Halberds! cool.. maybe by Skyrim's time they thought of them to antiquated? I have no idea why though.

Yeah, I wish there were spears. There was a poster awhile back who used to rant (valid rants, mind you) about how spears should have been in the game. A sharpened stick was basically the first weapon and they continued to be in use for a long, long time. Bayonets on rifles are basically spears and in some places are still seeing active duty. At the very least, most soldiers get trained in how to use them.

I would love nothing more than to have a warrior who whips out his spear and stabs, slashes, and impales his way across Skyrim. I imagine a kill cam scene where you grab your opponent by the back of his head, thrust the butt of your spear into the ground, and then bring that filthy bandit's face down on the spear's point.

Wow... I have totally psyched myself up for spears.
