I was wondering which character type was better for legendary difficulty: pure or hybrid. I tried an orc warrior on legendary and it was a huge pain in the rear because you don't do much damage but you can be 1-2 shotted.

Illusion mage that raises the dead. The two skills are easy to grind and aren't affected by the difficulty, but your thralls are much more powerful. Level whatever crafting/offensive skills you want in the background while your enemies do your bidding.
