Upon updating to beta 1.6 ive found that Dual wielding no longer works correctly, Left hand only blocks no matter what i do even with sword in hand ... any ideas? or will i be force to reinstall this mess?

You can block while dual wielding? you sure you werent high? that or its a glitch ive yet to encounter

You'll have to wipe everything and reinstall and hope its not there again. There's so many glitches right now and hopefully all of them will be fixed in the future. I'm still haunted by the disappearing horse glitch every time I start a game. *shrugs*

The patch also made my left handed weapon block, but if I hold left trigger, then press right trigger, it attacks and seems to work like a shield bash. If I use both buttons at the same they both attack normally. Not sure what is up.

Steam updated my skyrim to 1.6 on the 12th and i now have this issue also. My main assassin is now unplayable as the left dagger just blocks/bashes, and yes if i power attack with both weapons they work fine. I have also noticed that bandits etc are able to dual wield properly.

So far I have not had this problem. I can single attack with either weapon and I can power single attack with either weapon.

well what you need to is remove yourself from the beta in your steam settings, then you may have to re instal and or revert to previous save

But i was never in the beta to begin with. So surely I shouldn't be having this problem unless it is an actual bug in the 1.6 patch. Either way i will try your suggestion.

What type of system are you on? Are you sure it is not controller drift if you are on a console? After the release of 4 games that I like to play in November my controller at rest sends my character in a palsied, drunken spiral to the left that was humorous for a time but is now just pathetic. I'm going to order a new one right now.
