A Blood Dragon decided to attack me at the farms outside Windhelm. In the middle of the battle I managed to trigger a temporary crash landing on the opposite side of the river - and the dragon slid right into the river! Only its crest and the tip of its tail were visible. o_O
After some thrashing around it managed to take flight again, as usual.

That was one memorable dragon battle. :D

I just came out of Stony Creek Cave and there was a dragon right there, suddenly there are horses too, and I realized it was by an Imperial camp. The guards pretty much killed the dragon for me, but then they all went in the lake and are walking along the bottom, talking about it. I went in and started up some conversation and even bought some things from the Quartermaster.

Dragon (Nahagliiv, had to look it up) vs Giant+Companions outside Whiterun. The dragon's health was low (1/4, maybe) from Companions' arrows. The giant rolled up on the dragon, with all his stride, and brought his club shattering down on the dragon's head. The dragon proceeded to launch into orbit, ragdoll and all. Sent my frames down the drain, but it was pretty hilarious. Even funnier when I arrived in Rorikstead to find the bones of Nahagliiv in the town, almost directly in the center. Giants > Dragons.

Was in Windhelm when a dragon started attacking. So, myself and Lydia are struggling to kill the bugger when the Windhelm guards decide to get in the way. Of course they get hit by running in front to reach the dragon, about turn and start attacking ME! Was like wtf I'm trying to save the town from a dragon and you get in the way and I'M the one who gets attacked? Lol

How do you backstab a Dragon?
I have this mod called Live Another Life which gives you alternate starts for if you don't want to play a Dovahkiin or sit through the carriage ride. I wanted to do a quick character who's dream in life was to build and live in a Hearthfire House. I made an Altmer because I love Altmer's extra 50 magicka and highborn power, and asked for a random start.

The game made me a member of the Thalmor embassy. I said: "Okay, I can work with this. My character is sick of living in a totalitarian state and wants to live a simple life free of fear and restrictions. She asked to be transferred to Skyrim because she thought it would be easy get away undetected in the confusion of the Civil War."

So I played with the character a while, with the mindset that she has defected from the Thalmor. But as far as Skyrim is concerned,
my character is still in the Thalmor faction. I discovered this while using my sword to attack a horker and my character suddenly screamed: "Behold the future! Behold the Thalmor!"

Combat is kind of awkward with this character now as I can never be quite sure she's won't suddenly tell a wolf that elven supremacy is the only truth.
Cute. Actually, it makes sense. She's demented. After all, who in their right mind would want to leave the Thalmor? It's no wonder she's started talking to the aminals!

This has happened to me a LOT. Usually I'll just reload and be more careful, switch to arrows or lightning instead of fire or frost, unless it was a particularly difficult dragon to defeat.

This weekend though, I was battling an ancient dragon, and kept getting mauled by cave bears and sabrecats, it was insane, taking forever and tons of potions to keep up; then, just as I finally killed the dragon, suddenly I died too, I was all "wtf?", then I noticed one of the friggin' bears had got me from behind just as I delivered the killing blow.. needless to say I was ticked off and had to start over again.
I had just reset my Destruction to legendary and was not yet prepared to face an AD much less half the forest simultaneously.
After the auto-reload, and moving the fight further from the wilds, suddenly the stupid dragon just flies away (I missed him with my shout).. so, all that.. and no dragon soul or gold.
Pfft, the coward!

Another example of interference, there's an Orcish tribe at the very northwestern tip of Skyrim (Mor Khazgur) , I visited and the chief challenged me to a fist fight when I simply asked for work. Oookay dude, whatever.. you're on.
If you accept, two other nosy orcs come running up and get right in your face as the fight starts and they won't back away, it's impossible not to accidentally hit one of them at some point, and then all hell breaks loose, and they all try to kill you and scream bloody murder about "your" crimes. Idiots.
After I killed them all, I decided I didn't want it going down like that so I reloaded and tried again.. and again.. but time after time, those morons got right in my way.. really Bethesda? Finally I just gave up and didn't even talk to the chief, just avoided the whole thing.
Honestly, I oughta go back and just slaughter the lot of them in the most humiliating way possible.

So, a certain dog is following me around (after visiting his master) and I decide to head to Riften to clear some thieves' guild quests and borrow a horse before going off on the fetch & carry mission. As I'd walked to Riften I got attacked by some Stormcloaks, Imperials, Redguards, Bandits and (thanks to a nice dagger I'm carrying, I guess) some Vigilants at the same time. Long story short, I ran away and I think the dog is still fighting them by the time I'm in the guild...

As I'm technically in combat, when I approach Brynjolf he goes into combat mode too and heads towards the enemy, directly into the guild vault; opening it, by himself, with no problem.

I better go find out what that damned mutt is up to.

Last night (well, technically it was very early this morning) I decided to play some console Skyrim.

Nothing unusual happened until I was sent on a Rescue Mission to Stillborn Cave. After plowing through Falmer Warmongers and Chaurus Reapers I found the victim. I hadn't read the quest objective, so I only knew they were a citizen of the Rift.

Turned out the Falmer had kidnapped Etienne Rarnis (whom I'd apparently saved from the Thalmor)... he was even wearing his Thieves' Guild armor.
Of all the NPCs in the Rift the game decided to pick a TG member?! I'd no idea that could even happen. o_O

Oh, and I almost forgot this one: Lydia and I were finding Red Eagle's sword, and all went well until it came time for the boss fight. You see, no matter what I did (short of attacking him), the Briarheart would not turn hostile. I could even talk to him.
I tried all kinds of console commands, but only succeeded in getting him to aggro on some random distant enemy.
In the end I ordered Lydia to attack him. Even that only turned him hostile towards Lydia, but at least the she finished the job.

*sigh* I am just having no luck with my smiths. Adrienne has completely vanished. One day she is there and now I haven't seen her for ages. There was no cultist attack, no vampire attack, or dragons. She's just...gone..

Now I have lost Both Rustleif and his wife in Dawnstar. Rustleif thought he could take on a dragon with just an iron dagger. AN IRON DAGGER? really? you are a smith! you have a whole shop of weapons and that's your choice. Oh and never mind leaving behind your poor pregnant wife hey.. Dumbass. Then when everyone stood there looking at the corpse and the dragon skeleton, his wife calmly wanders back to the forge. Oh well, another day I guess...

I wish NPC's reacted to their loved ones getting killed. I at least gave him a proper burial and dragged his ass back to his forge and deposited him in there. The next evening I arrive in Dawnstar and apparently Rustleief's wife is more distressed over his death than I thought. She is in the midst of a Vampire attack. "NO Seren! Your unborn child!!!" I rush to help, but it's too late. She is now dead as well. Great, I have lost all my favourite smiths in the one playthrough.

Meanwhile, Another dragon attacks Dawnstar and it's skeleton joins the other one on the road. Now there is a giant skeletal road block on the outskirts of town...

I walked out of my house one morning to a dead horse on my porch. It wasn't my horse or my follower's. A warning from someone, maybe?

Last night I fast traveled back from Glenmoril coven to Dragonreach to return to Jorrvaskrr, right in the middle of a fight. Standing right behind me is a Draugr Deathlord.
Wat ?

On a funny note, every once in a while I do what I call a, "dream sequence"; I quicksave, and then do something I don't intend to leave in the game, and then reload as if nothing happened. It was all just a daydream.

So the other night, I'm standing by that annoying preacher of Talos in White run, and I thought I'd see what 'd happen if I did the storm call shout (with only 2 of the 3 words); I do my quick save and then the shout, everyone immediately turns hostile, and the first bolt of lightning strikes that preacher dead - YES!! Awesome.
Then another citizen gets zapped dead. That is one cool shout. I killed off the local guards, had about 11 bodies around me, when that annoying little girl shows up. I go after her with my ebony blade (knowing you cannot kill children) and she's yelling "Leave me alone" and runs off; a half minute later, a little boy shows up and goes, "Wow.. look at all the dead bodies", and he's just amazed.. but the hilarious thing was, in the next wave of guards, I see one of the Gray-manes chasing the same little girl with a battleaxe(!) and she's yelling "Leave me alone!" lol.. I guess he's had enough of her too! I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. I almost didn't want to reload and wipe it all out, but I need Whiterun right now.

Well, the preacher is no longer a problem, for real. I discovered where he lives (just yards from where he preaches), and I realized I could just sneak in some night, after all, I am a brother of the DH; so I snuck in at 3am game time last night and slit his throat.. the next morning, no more yakkity yak!
Yay!!!

I'm officially evil now, I think. I also did the "big assassination" (avoiding spoilers hopefully) in the DH questline last night, so I'm quite the killer, I guess.

I accidentally ate a sack of flour, and my character made a sort of choking noise... that sounded just like someone who'd eaten flour. :D

I've never eaten flour before, so I have no idea if that reaction was vanilla or caused by RND (my needs mod). :)

I have the Apocalpse spells mod. One of those spells is a little dandy that will auto-cast up to three buffs/summons upon entering battle. I generally have it set to cast a flesh spell, healing spell, and summon storm atronach. Yeah, it might be a little OP, but it's the only way I can have fun as a mage.

After over 500 hours of play I'm finally running through the main quest for the second time. I had reached the top of Skuldafn temple last night after wading through hordes of Draugr Deathlords. As I approached the portal to Sovngarde, my spell triggered because the dragon priest (Nahkriin) became aware of me. It just so happened that the storm atronach summoned just behind him (in between him and the staff). Rather than attacking he kept trying to squeeze past the atronach to reach the staff. Between the atronach and my blade he was nearly dead (or re-dead. . .not sure if the undead can die) by the time he managed to grab his staff. As he turned, and I backed away to prepare for the onslaught, my atronach sent a final jolt through his decaying body turning him to dust.

Probably my easiest dragon priest battle ever. In celebration, I used the storm call shout and disposed of the watching dragons.
