How would you describe yourself, to a stranger?
A deep thinker not afraid of being humorous.
I like to solve problems but admit to failing to always understand when not to act.
I hate lies so I only tell white lies. (Sure your a great shot at pool) lol.
A pen and ink artist, Figure studies mostly, working on an idea of some landscapes, abstracts too. Really need to take some better pictures of myself or find the good ones somewhere.
Trying to quit smoking but failing when at the pool table.
Took me 40+ years to become cool but thats cause all my geeky tendencies are ok now, I still think fast and often ramble, I like a good debate.
If intimidated by intelligence then just pass me by, just be nice about it, like "Um no, but thank you", not like running away and screaming "NOOOooo...!!!!!" hahaha
I am Artistic, Intelligent, and Compassionate.
I AM THAT 40+ YEAR OLD GEEK FROM THE 80'S MOVIES. All grown up decrying my karma hitting your dogma. Really i thought I purchased philosophy insurance by being an evolved being.
Care for a boring {ZOOM} over your head conversation just ask me what I am really thinking about...
Here is a provable paradox... light is a wave and a particle. If you got that hit me up.
If not then how about this one...
Twisted it abit to suit my mood, I think therefor I am a figment of my own creation.
Nice right. And finally what gets me riled up. The devolution of man, and turning on the lights at FTL
An awesome place I've visited:
13 countries, 14 states, and 3 personal epiphanies
My perfect Sunday:
Laze about with a cup of coffee, cuddle with my dachshund, watch a thought provoking movie
The movies I've watched the most times:
Dune, 2001, Blazing Saddles, Star Wars, Bond (all of them), Godzilla (all of them)
My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
An Artist and philsopher, Veteran and geek, I truely enjoy laughing and walks with my dog. I am a peacemaker and feel all conflicts can be reasoned out. I am eclectic in my interests. I just moved from Kansas City, so I am new to the area, and willing to explore. My hobbies are, writing a "Skyrim" inspired fan fiction role play or two, playing video games, playing pool, and walking my miniature dachshund "Cheyanne"
My first concert / My dream concert:
Steppenwolf and Kansas... i was 5 and they were lawn seats so on a blanket and playing. My dream concert huh? Can it be a geniune dream and impossible but would be cool to be at? I think if so, then Mozart and Moby having a musical battle of mages. Or one I plan on fixing as it was just announced B.B. King Live Nov. 22 in Pittsburg, PA
Obscure knowledge I possess:
utopia means literally "nothing", and the search and hope for a perfect society is hopeless, but not unworthy.
I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Short haired and a touch hyper. Freeloving, independent, and a little left of center.
For me, a first date no-no is:
Telling me how your religion can save me, and assuming that I don't understand the need for faith in my life. I am smart and I have explored alot of the world and myself in the years I have been here. I have an inner peace about me that I have found without religion. I don't need to have the excuse of a higher power and fear of retribution in a afterlife to keep me in line. Its enough to know there is only one time through this existance to know that a better man is one that trys to help others on their path through this life. I have seen many a christian who says on sunday one thing but when a person of need is in front of them does something else. And I will not discuss it further, your beliefs are your beliefs feel free to have them.
What I would bring to show and tell:
Some of my art, or the lastest shiny object in my possession.
A story you should remind me to tell you:
That would depend on whether you wanted me to look manly or funny, introspective, or loving. basically I like to let it all just flow. I am able to cry and am very compassionate. I am small and don't tend to be a fighter, not that I can't, I feel its a weakness to need to. I can and do find humor in tons of situations including those of my own life. I know alot of things, cause I am constantly questioning why.
I secretly want to be:
Steven Hawking with out the need for the chair.
I want to be with people who want to be:
Who they are all the time, not change because people around them are different or confrontational in their beliefs. Please be understanding, but not a chameleon.
An infatuation of mine:
Writing, I have to admit it made me expand my area's of interest, and has sparked a bit of creative juices. I want to draw again. I need a good desk.
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Do my art and relax all the time after paying it forward to a list of people who were there without question when I was in need.
One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
I play video games, its a hobbie. And even though its not "manly" like cars and golf, its much cheaper than both of those. And more fun, wanna play? I have extra controllers
I want to come home to:
A soft hug, a gentle kiss, dinner almost ready, my shows on dvr, my xbox on and setup for the game of the evening, the pitterpitter of my dogs feet and a publishers clearing house check for 10 million dollars... seriously I only care that its not empty and devoid of love, all the rest I'll try to help with.
