Last night I was trekking near Ironbind Barrow, which I had not been to on this playthrough. I saw a frost troll just off the road, so I headed over there. On my way, I was attacked by a snowy sabre cat. Ok, no problem. Then I heard a "THUMP". Ancient dragon lands right on the road! Then a frost dragon shows up. Since I use Spellbreaker & a sword, I usually don't have trouble with dragons. Bu since it only works facing one way, I actually had to down a couple health potions. The carnage was sweet, though. I felt like a champ standing in the middle of those 4 dead beasts. Wish that happened more often.

As I left the uni today (30 min ago), I saw something that triggered a train of thought leading me to remember a particular dragon battle at Rannveig's Fast.

The dragon (Arctic Dragon, to be exact) came from Eldersblood Peak (I'd hoped it would attack me down there so I wouldn't have to go to it). I had Blot (my horse) set to follow me, as usual.

During the early parts of the battle, the dragon landed yet again (I was hiding under cover, so it couldn't hit me from above). Nothing unusual there - except this time Blot happened to run up the stairs and managed to position herself so that when the dragon took flight, she was lifted high into the air on its wing/tail! o_O

Then of course the inevitable happened, and Blot fell off the dragon. Needless to say I was VERY, VERY glad I had set my horse to essential!

After the dragon finally died, I admittedly hesitated before calling Blot. It is quite disconcerting seeing a dragon steal your horse, regardless of the horse's status (essential/mortal).

When I look back at that day, I find it really funny. I wish I'd been quick enough to get a screenshot. :D

So a bit of background on these pictures:

You see that chair my character should be sitting in? When you actually sit in it without glitching you sit up all prim and proper, not slouching like she is here

Also Aela died when I was about lvl 35-36 with this character and all of a sudden at lvl 54 she AND skjor show back up again. Skjor reanimated when aela died, but i was confused as to why he was there so i killed him. So now skjor is back for a second time. Aela wont give me any quests, and skjor doesnt have dialogue options (just like guards when you try to speak to them).

The reason i was at jorrvaskr in the first place was because i was searching for Farkas, who has disappeared since my last werewolf transformation (he and serana started fighting and i haven't seen him since).

So, here Amy sits, confused and distraught, with the ghosts of her friends looming over.

Dead people have recently (the first time was sometime this week) started talking... no idea why.

Many times after I've landed a killing blow on a bandit/Silver Hand/Stormcloak, they've said something like "Hey, watch it!" or "Be careful!". o_O

Creepy, but also hilarious.

Today, I was randomly walking along the road in the southern parts of Windhelm hold (forgot the actual name of the hold, but whatever), when I saw a Redguard woman being threatened by two Alik'r warriors. Nothing unusual about it, so I didn't really pay attention, until I realized there were three more guys. The Revelers where having a party at the exact same moment in the exact same spot.

It was hilarious to witness. Two black guys are threatening a woman, and these dudes were just chilling there, drinking their mead like they didn't even give a fudge. When I walked past them, the Alik'r are like "Come along quietly, so we don't have to get rough!". Then, one of the revelers approached me and gave me a bottle, as per usual, inviting me to join the fun! Well, I guess it was none of their business anyway.

Just another day in Skyrim.

Well, I don't blame them. You don't want to mess with the Alik'r. They've got curved swords!

I decided to do the Civil War again, just for kicks. (And well, I'm on vacation this week with no money to go anywhere.) So, right in the middle of the battle for Fort Hraggstad, when I am being absolutely pelted with Imperial arrows, the fugitive guy who steals things from hunters hands me whatever thing he stole and threatens me that I had better not tell anyone. Meanwhile an Imperial gets me from behind and I am almost dead.

I did get a pretty cool enchanted elven mace though.

The first time I played vanilla Skyrim, right after getting the mission to meet the Greybeards, I met up with the giants outside of Whiterun and was promptly sent into orbit. That was right after release, so nobody had spoiled that secret online yet, so it was so cool that naturally I reloaded and tried again...several times...because damn is it funny. About 5 times I flew straight up, but the next time, I was thrown sideways and landed most of the way up High Hrothgar (which I'd never seen)...right in front of a frost troll...you can guess how well that went...

Sadly, that character later glitched unrecoverably, so I made a new character and decided to scout. Right after Helgen, I started running in a random direction. I'd played Bethesda games before, so I was used to jumping up mountains, and somehow I avoided meeting a single enemy and ended up in some random cave...don't even remember which. I walked inside, and was promptly savaged by a bear...but as soon as it attacked me and my health fell to near zero, it just keeled over and died. Level 1 FTW!

Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.
I'm not sure this is a WTF, because it's happened on each new character, So it's probably more of a FFS.

Started a Redguard for a change last night and I'm on the way up to get some shout training and there's that effing Frost Troll. That first one always kills me no matter what type of character I use. Put my new shouts to good use on the way down though - it probably still hasn't landed.

I was hysterical when I walked in front of a grey ears right before he said "FUS RO DAH!" And threw me of the mountainside.

Bad to the Dragonbone.
Why is it that whenever I clean out my inventory for a fresh round of dungeon looting a damn dragon shows up and forces me to lug around 75 pounds of dragon bones unless I inconvenience myself to make a special trip back home to drop them off!

My game may have earned the "M" rating more than most, based on the unintentionally dirty-seeming moments I keep walking into. I mean, really - what is going on here?!
