See topic.

I already own a copy for the PS3 and am wondering if since the PS4 has a larger internal memory and larger internal hard drive, would that affect things like the game's loading time and the occasional freeze.

I'd serious would just get the game for PC...... don't think the game is ever coming out for the ps4...

When in doubt, follow the fox.
I don't think so but they might change their mind. You can reduce freezes and loading time by changing your save settings. Eliminate all but the autosave. Your loading times are also affected by the number of items you carry. Bear in mind, 20 daggers is counted as 1 item. it's like, each thing in the list counts as 1. hmmm, I wonder if I'm making myself clear. Anyway, dump your ingredients in a box, sell off the extraneous. Travel light.

lmaooooo nooooo, 100% it won't. It would take way too much time and money to port it over to the PS4. Its not worth the effort for the few people who miraculously never played or haven't decided to on the PS3, there's no money.

It would be more worth it to port it over to the WiiU, there's a bigger market there than PS4 atm

Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.
There won't be a direct port over, the best you can hope for is that it becomes available in a streaming emulated environment such as will be provided by Gaikai. But by the time that happens, will people want to play it on the PS4 ? Personally I played it on the PC and PS3 and would agree with Suleku that, if you have a PC capable, buy it for the PC.

I agree that if it does happen it would likely be a situation where you are playing the game in the cloud. Not a sure thing that it ever comes out, but I did read back during PS4 development that a downside of moving to a more pc-like architecture, the PS4 would not be backwards compatible with PS3 games. Sony did say however that some PS3 games would become available to play on a cloud-type server. Whether or not that happens to a good number of games or if it includes Skyrim at some point, who knows. If it did, I imagine save and load times would be quicker and graphics might be a touch better, but likely the game wouldn't be all that much different. It is after all, about 2 1/2 years old already

If Skyrim came out last year, perhaps. But it'll be three years old this year, though the next TES... them graphics will be drool worthy.

I will not tolerate failure...
who knows they did make an Oblivion 5th anniversary edition in 2011? hint:cool: they could make 1 for Skyrim for them you know

How do you backstab a Dragon?
No. Skyrim will have to be purchased as a separate game (although it will include all DLC's) for the PS4. Tentative release is early 2015, although that may be pushed back until agreements are in place with Bethesda for all TES games as well as other Beth releases.

Quit it with the PC stuff guys. Not all of us want to dedicate our computer to gaming. For most of us, a console is just fine. It is, after all, only a game.

Okay... now, how do I upload from that DVD that says Skryim... wait... what's this about dpi?... Oh... this is taking forever. Okay... good. Now, where is that texture mod, and where's that one for climate... hmmm....

:) Interesting on the likely release. I know it slipped onto the Bethsoft website early January, allegedly by accident. It will be interesting to see how a transition from ps3 to ps4 looks, I hope Bethesda can be bothered to put in the effort so it looks like it belongs on the PS4.

Strangely enough, I still play on both PS3 and PC, but Skyrim isn't a system killer as far as PCs go unless you load mods, I play more on my work laptop (my business so I can only get into trouble off myself) than the dust gathering monster in the corner. It's also the disadvantage of having a family - they keep wanting to watch TV, that drives some of us to the PC.
