The Witcher 3’s Coming Out Party Will Be at Comic-Con

CD PROJEKT Red’s The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt will have a major presence at this week’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, including the first public showing of the game.

The Witcher will be featured in a panel kicking off 10 a.m. Thursday morning at the show. The highlight will be the first ever consumer preview of the game. There will also be a peek at the Dark Horse comics based on The Witcher franchise. Panelists will include Doug Cockle (Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher franchise), Dark Horse Comics author Paul Tobin (The Witcher House of Glass), Nick McWhorter, CD PROJEKT RED’s game developers Damien Monnier and Lukasz Wnek (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt), and Rafal Jaki

Also at the show Rafal Jaki, Witcher Franchise Director, will be taking part in Friday’s The Art of Video Games panel, which features Dark Horse Comics based on video games including The Witcher. That panel starts at 4 p.m.

At the Geek & Sundry Consumer Lounge at Jolt’n Joe’s Gaslamp, 379 4th Ave, San Diego, these events are also planned:

Thursday, July 24th, 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM – The Witcher Trivia Madness,
Friday, July 25th, 10 AM – 11 AM, The Witcher Adventure Game Sneak Peek,
Friday, July 25th, 11 AM – 12 PM, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Live Demo.

And as you can see from the live-action teaser above, there will be a The Witcher-themed Cosplay Contest Thursday as well.

The Witcher 3 will be out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC Februrary 24, 2015.
