If You’re A Natsume Fan, You’ll Want To See This

by on January 12, 2016

How many of you are fans of Natsume RPGs? Lufia? Harvest Moon? How many just want an affordable copy of Pocky and Rocky? That third one still isn’t happening, but if you’ve always wanted a mint copy of your favorite Natsume game, this is your once-in-a-lifetime chance: the company has opened their own eBay store to get rid of their excess stock from the past 25 years.

Items run the gamut from rare figures to E3 tote bags to actual unopened game boxes that date back to the SNES area. There are sealed copies of Lufia: Rise of the Sinistrals and Pocky and Rocky being auctioned off at this store RIGHT NOW! No fooling.

I am not the first person to be reporting this secret, though. Natsume sold a P&R already for a whopping $1691.66. The box they’ve got up now hasn’t reached that height yet, but it has six and a half days to go. As Natsume community manager “CeeCee” told Tiny Cartridge, “We’ve kept copies around of games for a variety of reasons, review copies before digital distribution was a thing, warranty needs, etc. Over time, these copies slowly added up until we had a fairly extensive collection of classic titles, just not in large numbers for any singular game.”

How many DO they have? CeeCee showed off a copy from her shelf:

Everything you see is sealed, and there’s far more that’s off-frame. The Natsume eBay store has a lineup that changes constantly, so keep an eye on it. If you want something from it, you’re going to need a hefty amount of cash to win it depending on the item. But for some, it may be worth it. The odds of this much unexposed Natsume goodness turning up again in one place are low.
