    Avoiding Impossible Quests/Opponents

Right, but you giving me this information is meta knowledge right. If I didn't already know what to avoid, is there any way to acquire that knowledge, in-game only, without dying to find out?

    Avoiding Impossible Quests/Opponents

I install mods to fix bugs, greatly enhance the graphic quality of the game, and to fix a broken User Interface (skyui is SO much better than the default UI). I'd not using any mod to add items or anything though. With Steam and Nexus Mod Manager and Steam installing and keep mods up to date...

    Avoiding Impossible Quests/Opponents

So, is the game designed that you WILL die unless you already have pre-knowledge about what quests to avoid and what not to fight? I mean intelligence and craftiness doesn't even factor in. Either you have past knowledge about what to avoid until a given level, or you will run into something...

    Avoiding Impossible Quests/Opponents

No challenge for me would be a very boring game.

    Avoiding Impossible Quests/Opponents

I find most things are reasonable, but some things impossible. The quest I cited for example, the boss is hitting me for nearly 85% of my health PER hit (not an exaggeration). That's just not reasonable.

    Avoiding Impossible Quests/Opponents

So I'm playing Skyrim (PC), and I wonder how to know which quests are impossible at your level? I'm a level 14 light armour wearing bow + sword/shield character. I'm given the quest "Find the Source of Power in Valthume" at a much lower level. This leads me to get the Evil In Waiting quest...

    What do you consider cheating?

Define cheating? What is he cheating? Who is he cheating? Is it cheating if we (and we all do it) take advantage of the fact that the AI for NPCs is far inferior to a real person of *AVERAGE* intelligence? Is he not cheating his own real life if he sits in some game grinding for something...

    Surviving in light armour

A shield seems so un-rogue like to me. Is it the only viable way to go?

    Surviving in light armour

I'm lucky if that "opening barrage" does much more than 4% damage to the one I'm attacking. <edit>To the more powerful critters which *I* run in to thus far</edit>

    Surviving in light armour

...and I realize that the rogue, having less armour, will take more damage with every hit. But is there any advantage/strategy in wearing light that allows me to make up for the lack of armour (that brings the survivability of the two characters closer)?

    Surviving in light armour

I have two characters. The first is a Paladin-like character. Level 13. Heavy armour (skill: 47), shield, Block (38), and a sword (52) The other is a rogue-like character. Level 16. Light armour (57), archery (42), two daggers (39), and sneak (47). I use the Dark Brotherhood armour. The...
