I agree with the posts above. To be honest I'm looking for a way to get back into it but I'm having difficulties for other reasons. I won't go much into detail seeing as this is your thread, so I'll keep it brief. I would suggest making a character astray from your usual tactics. Seeing as how...
I love how people just assume that because I play a battle-mage that there's no way I can be using any RP elements by joining the Thieves Guild. You see, as a boy Detrius was fascinated by the tales of the infamous Grey Fox and aspired to be a great thief. However both of his parents were...
I found it disappointing that I was able to breeze through it with my completely un-stealthy battle-mage. The only thing I did differently was use a Muffle spell from time to time, but for the most part I was able to barge in, hands blazing and proceed to pillage to move along in the quest line...
I must've fluffed up somewhere down the road with my level 58 Breton battle-mage. Maybe it's because I couldn't help but to dip into just about every perk tree, but even playing on Expert (haven't tried out Master yet), Ancient Dragons fluff my day up. No one else can touch me, but it bums me out...
Level 16 Breton battle-mage.
All Dwarven (exquisite) armor.
Ring w/ stamina bonus.
Necklace w/ health bonus.
Mace of Molag Bol.
Not too impressive, but once I get Smithing to 60 and get the perk that allows me to temper enchanted armor, I'm gonna start working on Enchanting and get beast mode.
Well, thank you...? But unfortunately I won't be continuing, I simply don't have the time to keep it up. I'd be able to post maybe once or twice a week, and people would lose interest. So I just don't see the point.
Oh, of course there's nothing wrong with that. I'm not trying to bring anyone down or judge. The Orc racial is awesome and always useful and so is Breton (my preferred race) and High Elf. Unless I'm mistaken the rest are pretty useless in higher levels.
Oh yeah...I forgot about the disease resistance for Argonians and stronger hand-to-hand for Khajiits, my apologies. But the better lock picking for Argonians and sneak for Khajiits are only helpful in the beginning of the game.
You could pick an Orc and get to the 25 sneak in the tutorial if...
So for anyone to come upon this thread, I apologize. I was in over my head when creating this and had a bit of free time on my hands. In reality, I work full time and live with my girlfriend who hates video games. I hardly have enough time to play Skyrim for fun let alone keep a journal. And my...
